"AI is not here to replace the creatives. It’s another tool in the creative toolbox." At The Assembly: Take One, our speakers shared how AI can help creators explore ideas, experiment faster and push their work in new directions. For creators, that means new and easier ways to tell stories, create, collaborate and even turn your skills into opportunities. Been experimenting with AI? The African AI Film Festival is giving creators a space to put that work out there. Businesses at our first Build With AI masterclass were offered a free AI audit - a clear view of where AI could save time, cut cost or open new revenue inside their own operations. The next step is putting one of those opportunities to work. Build With AI takes specific enterprise problems; customer service volume, document processing, forecasting, field data, reporting, scopes them into use cases, and matches them to builders in the Build With AI network who carry the solution through to deployment. Have a problem worth solving properly? Submit it at buildwithai.innovationvillag…. #BuildWithAI #AIForBusiness #AIReadyBusiness

Trends put your work in front of more people. Originality makes them remember you. One gets you into the conversation. The other makes you stand out in it. But, does choosing one mean giving up the other?

We believe businesses grow through opportunity. Opportunity to meet customers. Opportunity to test ideas. Opportunity to build demand. Opportunity to create relationships that open new doors. #MarketByMoTIV brings these opportunities into one physical space. It creates a meeting point for Ugandan businesses, consumers, creators and partners, each contributing to a vibrant marketplace. For businesses, it is an opportunity to put products in front of customers, generate sales and gain first-hand insight into the market. For consumers, it is a space to discover, experience and support locally made products and the businesses behind them. For partners, it provides a platform to engage with an active community around commerce, culture and lifestyle. Through our Creative Business Academy, we are building Market by MoTIV as a consistent platform for discovery, connection and commercial opportunity — creating value for participating businesses, partners and the people who visit. This is one of the ways we are creating spaces that connect businesses with the markets they serve. #MarketAccess #MadeInUganda #UgandanBusinesses #CreativeEconomy

Creative livelihoods are built within ecosystems. That is the thinking behind the Nordic-Uganda Partnership Day, bringing together the @SwedeninUG, Selam, PANAF, Connect For Culture Africa, Kyambogo University, @AfricaCreAlli and @MotivUG around a shared conversation on the role of culture, creativity and enterprise in sustainable livelihoods. Yesterday at @kyambogou, we moved that conversation from theory into the studio. Young creatives; students from Performing Arts and Business Management, alongside working artists and creative entrepreneurs, spent the day looking at what happens when a creative idea meets stronger positioning. @Mapei and Anthony Mills unpacked the choices behind identity, audience and visibility, while Hon. Rachel Magoola opened the day by asking what it takes for art to become a sustainable livelihood. Then the room became a working studio. The same creative work was developed twice: first by the artist alone, then with professional input brought into the process. Participants watched the transformation happen in real time, comparing what changed in the work, how it was positioned, who it could reach and what that could mean commercially. It was less about being told that creatives need support, and more about giving them the chance to see where the right producer, marketer, manager or designer can change the trajectory of an idea. Today, the conversation moves to the next piece of the puzzle: Creative Entrepreneurship. @naviomusic leads the second masterclass as part of the Nordic-Uganda Partnership Day, exploring the pathways from creative work to audiences, platforms and income. For us at the alliance, the conversation sits within a bigger ambition: strengthening the creative economy by helping creatives build practices that can sustain them. Creative talent is only one part of that equation. How that talent is positioned, understood, discovered and connected to opportunity can shape whether creative work becomes a career, a business and, ultimately, a livelihood. #ArtAndSustainableLivelihoods #CreativeEntrepreneurship #CreativeEconomy #NordicUgandaPartnershipDay
