BREAKING: Iran has now reportedly started mapping out critical undersea internet cables across the Gulf, with Iran-linked vessels spotted hovering near key submarine cable routes in the Gulf of Oman after Tehran warned it could cut them if the U.S. and Israel launch another military attack, per the Financial Times.
According to maritime intelligence firm Windward, at least four Iran-linked vessels—including three U.S.-sanctioned tankers and an Iranian fishing boat—were observed slowing down, circling and switching off their tracking systems near major cable corridors. Windward said the behavior was “consistent with cable route mapping or the placement of charges or mines during blackout periods.”
This follows the IRGC’s October 19 warning that Iran could target internet cables beneath the Strait of Hormuz. A new transatlantic submarine cable costs around $200–250 million to build, while repairing a damaged fiber-optic cable typically costs $500,000–$1 million. In wartime, naval threats and security restrictions could delay repair ships for weeks or months, with repair operations costing up to $1 million per day.

Perché Mosca non ha ancora chiuso la guerra?
La risposta che nessuno vuole sentire.
Mia riflessione personale.
Continuano a ripetere la stessa domanda da anni: “Se la Russia è così forte, perché non ha ancora vinto in Ucraina?”
E subito dopo tirano fuori la conclusione che gli fa comodo: allora è debole, allora basta ancora più armi a Zelensky e l’Ucraina vince. È il copione di Meloni, del PD, di Guerini e di tutta l’élite atlantista.
Partono da un presupposto sbagliato.
Se “vincere” significasse radere al suolo l’Ucraina, Mosca avrebbe potuto farlo il primo giorno. Un Sarmat su Kiev, o un Oreshnik, e la guerra finisce in pochi minuti. Colpire ogni grande città ucraina è perfettamente alla sua portata. Credete davvero che Washington, Londra o Bruxelles si farebbero cancellare per difendere Zelensky? No.
Allora perché non lo fa?
Perché per la Russia quella non sarebbe una vittoria. Sarebbe una sconfitta storica e irreversibile.
La Russia nasce dalla Rus’ di Kiev che stava in quella che oggi è l'Ucraina.
Un russo su tre ha sangue, parenti, radici e ricordi lì.
Non è l’Iraq per gli americani. Non è la Libia per la NATO.
È casa.
Per questo non ha nemmeno distrutto tutti i ponti sul Dnepr. Potrebbe farlo in una notte.
Non lo fa.
Non applica la dottrina americana dello shock and awe: radere al suolo tutto, civili, ospedali, infrastrutture, senza lasciare niente in piedi.
Gli Stati Uniti lo fanno sempre, ma sempre lontano da casa loro.
La Russia non sta combattendo per annientare l’Ucraina.
Sta combattendo per non perderla.
E qui finisce la prudenza.
Putin, Lavrov, Peskov e Medvedev l’hanno detto chiaro più volte: se un Paese europeo attacca direttamente la Russia, la risposta di Mosca sarebbe senza esitazione e senza pietà.
Perché noi non siamo l’Ucraina.

47 years ago, Iranian students took over the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, exposing what became known as The Den of Espionage.
The Iranian people had not forgotten 1953. We remembered Operation Ajax, the CIA-backed coup against Mohammad Mosaddegh, the decades of dictatorship that followed, and the plundering of our national wealth by America and Britain.
We remembered. And this time, we stood our ground.
The seizure of the American Embassy by Iranian students on 13 Aban was more than an occupation. It became a defining moment in Iran's confrontation with American power and the beginning of a long series of setbacks for Washington.
Last time, the West rewrote our story. Hollywood gave us "Argo". Their media turned us into villains while burying the history behind November 4.
But the world is waking up.
Their propaganda monopoly is cracking.
Their censorship is failing.
47 years later, we still remember.

All of that from a plant that would go through you untouched.
No machine on earth can do it. No laboratory has come close. Grass in one end, a complete human diet out the other, and the thing builds soil while it stands there.
It runs on rain and sunshine. It needs no factory, no patent and no delivery lorry. It repairs itself, and every couple of years it makes another one.
And we are told to get rid of it to save the planet.
While the almonds are flown in from California and the soy is shipped in from a field that used to be Brazil.
The stupidity has a carbon footprint of its own.

Seorang penjual cilor yang tak sengaja kukenal saat membeli air kelapa muda. Gara-gara aku mau ngudud dan lupa bawa korek.
Hari minggu lalu, dia ke Ndalem Kapitikan. Mau beli 2 batang alpukat untuk ditanam di daerah Dieng. "Ambil aja," kataku, "gak usah bayar."
Memang beberapa minggu ini aku sedang berpikir bagaimana proses penyaringan yang gak merepotkan. "Kalau ada permintaan ekspor ke Vancouver sebanyak 8.000 botol, mosok penyaringannya manual? Kalo mau otomatis, model filternya bagaimana, yang bagus merk apa, harganya berapa?" pikirku. Sebagai orang yang biasanya ngobrol sama tanaman dan gak pernah ngobrol sama saringan, saya jelas mumet.
Setelah mengambil 2 bibit alpukat dan menatanya di tas, kami ngobrol-ngobrol. Tiba2 dia bertanya asalku dari mana. Kujawab: Semarang. Dia cerita kalo pernah menjadi teknisi alat cuci darah di salah satu rumah sakit terkenal di Semarang. Juga cerita kalau pernah diminta setting filter air salah satu perusahaan kosmetik.
Aku kaget. Lalu kuceritakan masalahku padanya. Dia tertawa lalu bilang," Pakai filter ini aja, Pak. Nanti dipasang yang 0,1 mikron. Tapi kalau 01 mikron, mungkin warna larutan yang bapak buat jadi bening lho. Paling nanti tinggal ditambahin pompa kecil."
"Bisa nggak kalo misalkan diganti 0,5 mikron, supaya warna larutannya tetap ada," tanyaku.
"Ya nanti saya riset dulu, Pak. Secara teorinya sih bisa. Coba nanti saya pikirkannya. Sudah, Bapak gak usah mikir yang kayak gitu. Nanti saya aja yang mikir dan membuat. Paling-paling biayanya sekitar 1 jutaan," jawabnya.
Riset, teori, berpikir dan membuat. Hal yang menurutku agak aneh karena keluar dari ucapan Awes yang siang harinya jualan cilor dan pagi harinya menyetorkan irisan2 buah di warung2.
Sungguh, Allah tak pernah kekurangan guru. Dia mendatangkan guru dalam berbagai rupa. Hanya saja, kita sering mengabaikannya karena telanjur menempelkan label di dahinya. Awes - penjual cilor - gak gak tahu apa2.
Sungguh. Engkau Maha Mengatur, Maha Tahu dan Maha Menyelesaikan urusan hamba-Mu, Yaa Allah.
