I’m deeply concerned by the shooting of a Toronto Police officer while responding to a robbery near Bloor-Parliament.
My thoughts are with the injured officer and his family, and I’m wishing him a full and speedy recovery. Read my full statement below.
My thoughts are with everyone who has been impacted by this incident. Tragically, one resident lost their life. My deepest condolences go to their family, loved ones, friends, and neighbours during this difficult time.
Please be advised that as we approach the upcoming municipal election period, this account will transition to sharing campaign-related updates and information.

I am deeply saddened and outraged by the violence that occurred at Salsa on St. Clair. My deepest condolences go to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives, and my thoughts are with everyone who was injured or affected by this tragedy.
I was deeply concerned to learn about the fire this morning at 4205 Lawrence Avenue East. My thoughts are with the residents and families who were impacted, especially the individuals who were taken to hospital for further medical care.
The City of Toronto is developing a management plan for the Environmentally Significant Areas (ESAs) within the Highland Creek ravine system.
The survey is open until Sunday, July 19, 2026 at 8:00 PM and can be found at bit.ly/highlandcreekesa.
Last month, I shared our celebration of the West Rouge Soccer Club’s 50th anniversary with Toronto City Council.
For half a century, they have done phenomenal work uniting our community through indoor and outdoor soccer programs for children and youth across south Scarborough.
Our office is helping keep our neighbourhoods safer by distributing Slow Down signs across Scarborough-Rouge Park.
These signs are a simple reminder for drivers to reduce speed, stay alert, and help protect everyone on our local streets.
Proud to pay tribute to the Scarborough Basketball Association at the last City Council for 30 years of excellence.
They’ve helped so many children and youth with a simple game plan: to grow and enjoy life through the sport of basketball.
Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to visit West Rouge Community Centre witnessed community programs in action, learn more about the services being delivered, and discuss how we can continue working together to better serve our communities.
At last week’s council, I introduced a motion at City Hall to improve City services for faith communities. It directly addresses ongoing challenges with public space usage, permits, parking exemptions, and transit access.
As diverse communities grow, religious celebrations expand too. This motion ensures that faith organizations across the city receive equitable and efficient City services so they can focus on their celebrations and events.
My motion was adopted by City Council. Learn more at: bit.ly/faithtoronto
A full day spent across Scarborough, connecting with residents, celebrating our community, and sharing information about how our office can help.
Thank you to everyone who stopped to chat, shared their concerns, and celebrated with us today.
Happy Canada Day, Scarborough!
It was an honour to join the Annual Celebration at the Swaminarayan Temple and celebrate with members of our local Hindu community. Thank you to the temple leadership, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this gathering so welcoming and meaningful.
Filipino Heritage Month is a celebration of a community whose history, resilience, and contributions have helped shape Scarborough and our city.
It was an honour to gather with over a hundred of residents at the Scarborough Civic Centre to celebrate Filipino culture!
Free Canada Day lawn signs are still available at our constituency office!
If you're celebrating with family, friends, or neighbours, we'd love to help you show your community spirit. Drop by the office to pick up your free lawn sign while supplies last.
