With Halloween around the corner it is time to crank up tunes by my favorite boy band…..the Slashstreet Boys.

Really excited about this park. The two coasters look great and they have a decent selection of flats coming in.
Sadly I never made it there. Looked like a fun park. Also the Nights in White Satin dark ride looked super cool.
Rolling Thunder that once ran at Six Flags Great Adventure is the Negative-G Picture of the Day.
Did you ever get to ride this Bill Cobb designed racing coaster before it was demolished in 2013?

Loved it as a small charming park but it wasn’t bad when they combined it with SeaWorld.

Geauga Lake, but 1999 with the knowledge that they shouldn't overbuild it in the new Millennium and combine it with Sea World. Let it stay a charming regional park, not one trying to outcompetes Cedar Point.
Agreed. It was a crime against humanity for Gaylord to close it for an outlet mall.

Opryland! Nashville needs a theme park. There is not enough family-friendly entertainment for this growing region. Also, our closest park is Beech Bend in Kentucky which is very small, and after that it’s Holiday World or Dollywood, both 3 hours away or more.
The Ashrodome was amazing. Saw tons of events there from numerous Astros games to my high school (Stratford Spartans) getting to play there a few times. Outside of Wrigley it is my favorite stadium.

I wasn't even considering line-up but that the park and stadium were designed in this cool futurism vision masterplan. Good read on it.

Astroworld was a great park especially with their eclectic collection that included the second Arrow suspended, the insane Texas Cyclone, a Togo UltraTwisters, a great Arrow mine train, and THREE Schwarzkopf coasters.

💯 Astroworld. It looked like a visually interesting space age awesome design. The others were basically crappy millennium era builds that failed because of that.

今日は #三井グリーンランド (現:熊本グリーンランド)の #チュルチュルコースター です。
こまごまとしたコースをチュルチュルと走ることから名付けられた。
解体後は、跡地にスフィンクスコースターが設置されました。

I’m going to hope that it is not true that they haven’t reached out to the family because that would be cold.

I’m just gonna say this;
We don’t know what they’ve been doing behind the scenes. I know the family has said SF didn’t reach out to them over a week ago and that was BAD if true.
Everyone didn’t know the park wasn’t at fault. Trust me the media were circling like sharks and were going out of their way to blame the park. There were tons of folks bragging on various forums about how the park “allowed” loose restraints and that was being pushed by the media. As a friend of the park I spent a day being interviewed from numerous media outlets who were trying as hard as possible to make the park responsible.
If my memory serves correctly there were workshops at IAAPA that studied and discussed their response. It is obvious no one at Six Flags attended otherwise their response would not have been a message released after the market has closed for the week in hopes it is forgotten by the opening bell on Monday.

because everyone knew the park wasn’t at fault. this ain’t apples to apples.
