Today is the 109th anniversary of one of the worst disasters to strike human civilisation. Lenin's Bolshevik putsch in Petrograd, which overthrew Russia's first democracy and began 70 years of murder, theft and persecution. Imperial Germany arranged this event and paid for it.

Pro-choice Republicans need to get the hell out of our party! No one should vote for a Republican candidate who doesn’t want to abolish abortion.

Amazing that some seem to believe that the post-Trump right will revert to “conservatism” (the subordinated junior wing of procedural liberalism), rather than becoming even more substantive and forceful.

One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up. So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us." Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026. There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true. But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone. Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were: 1) End the war 2) Focus on cost of living/inflation 3) Put America First 4) Change our relationship to Israel Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.) In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you. The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night. If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest. But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there. I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, “I told you so”: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.

Pro-Palestine voters now have to vote straight-ticket Republican 😂
🚨 BREAKING: PRESIDENT TRUMP ENDS DIRECT $4B MILITARY AID TO ISRAEL under agreement with PM Netanyahu "Netanyahu and I have made a deal: we give Israel $4B a year...we're stopping. They're fine with it." "We've agreed. He's very understanding of it. Why are we giving Israel $4B? Take that off the table, they don't need it." Sounds like Israel can still get America's help and buy weapons if needed. The left has no response!

The taking of more than 11 million unborn lives has been a great evil. We gathered in front of Parliament to lament. But we are to pray and work towards a time when our society turns away from the culture of death and embraces a culture celebrating the dignity and value of every human life christian.org.uk/features/la…

Thousands of human embryos are being destroyed in British IVF clinics after couples divorce or separate. New research shows that two-thirds of separating couples choose to discard their remaining frozen embryos. SPUC's Peter Kearney: “Yet again, big fertility is showing that its main goal is not to nurture and treasure life, but to satisfy the desires of selfish adults without a concern for the bloodshed they leave in their trail." I’d actually use Faramir over Aragorn to contrast the things people are saying regarding relating p Anakin. Faramir was the second son of steward who was slowly going mad. He was overlooked, disregarded, and disrespected by his father. He grew up in a kingdom that had been in a state of unease his entire life. Once his kingdom had been great but those who came beforehand had mishandled it and let it fall into a lesser state. Aragon had a life and upbringing that wasn’t easy, but in many ways was affirming and encouraging of him and his purpose in life, but Faramir was raised in as bleak a situation as Boromir but without the same amount of love and affection and affirmation that Boromir received. Even beyond just to his father, Faramir was in the shadow of Boromir and seen as inferior to him. It would have been easy for Faramir to despair about his lot in life. His mother had died, his father didn’t show much love for him, he lived in a crumbling kingdom without a king and their enemies were amassing power. Then he loses his brother, which puts further strain on his relationship with his father. And in all this bleakness he is given an “answer” to his problems. A defenceless pair of hobbits carrying a great weapon. Something that would promise to turn the tide of the war, defeat his enemies, prove to his father that he wasn’t worthless… but no, Faramir used wisdom and discernment to detect the lies in the promise, to detect the evil that was seeking to manipulate his very real feelings. Before the end of the story Faramir loses his father to despair and madness, a madness that almost took Faramir’s life, as well. He’s outlived his whole family and he’s recovering from grave injury. But even in the midst of that, he finds hope and he gives some of that hope to another, Eowyn. Faramir has many reasons to feel bitterness and despair, to fall into temptation and find ways to try to justify doing wrong things for the sake of himself or even some greater noble goal. But he doesn’t because he learned to seek out wisdom, he humbly learned from people like Gandalf, and he had much discernment and clarity about what truly mattered.
Don’t empathize with Anakin. Identify with Aragorn. He’s the ultimate anti-doomer. When all seemed lost, Aragorn still acted out of principle & not self-interest. He didn’t change his actions based on feelings or probabilities. He didn’t harbor vengeance. He had a duty, and he risked life and love to fulfill it (saving both in the process).

Please help with this if you can. John Aron is a fantastic photographer and always goes above and beyond with his work. John recently had his photography kit bag stolen, losing around £18,000 of equipment he relies on for his work. Sadly, the loss wasn’t covered by insurance. John does so much for others and his church, and a fundraiser has been set up to give something back in his hour of need. If you can donate or share the link, he’d be very grateful. Thank you. Please pray that people are generous. gofund.me/e61d3f121

“Leftism” is simply the name given to the political expression of spite. It is not moral to permit Leftism a seat at the table. It is not moral to allow Leftism to propagate in your nation. It is downright evil to allow Leftism access to the instruments of power. Before the advent of mass democracy, this was obvious. In our own age, we have been tricked into believing we have to entertain these vile ideas in the name of “tolerance.” Leftists are not “the loyal opposition.” They are the enemies of civilisation itself. You do not defeat them by debating them; they have shown that to be a futile endeavour. You defeat them by taking control of the state and using it to utterly crush them.

Unbelievable that the US media has been largely ignoring all of this. A coup attempt, of sorts, within one of the most important NATO allies!
