This video’s whole message is basically “Jews are why your life is hard.” That’s called scapegoating. Scapegoating means blaming a small group for problems they didn’t cause so everyone else can ignore the real reasons and feel good about attacking them. And “Jews are the reason your life sucks” (prices, wars, healthcare, all of it) is the oldest version of this there is. We’ve seen it over and over throughout history: -Black Death (1300s): Jews poisoned the wells. Massacres and expulsions followed. -Blood libels (Middle Ages–1800s): Jews murder Christian kids for rituals. Pogroms and expulsions. -Russian pogroms (1881–1921): Jews caused the misery. Tens of thousands dead, mass flight. -Nazi Germany: Jews lost the war, ruined the economy, corrupted the culture. Laws, Kristallnacht, then 6 million murdered. -Kielce (1946): Even after the Holocaust, Jews were still the problem. More killings, more people running. The pattern never changes: 1- Pick a small, visible minority and call them the secret controllers. 2- Tie them to whatever’s hurting people that week. 3- Move from propaganda to boycotts, laws, expulsions, and violence. What’s happening right now follows the exact same script, blaming Jews, “Zionists,” or AIPAC for grocery prices, healthcare, and wars. Historians don’t treat this as some novel political analysis. They recognize it as the same move that has preceded catastrophe every single time. Doesn’t matter if they say “Jews,” “the lobby,” or “the Jewish state.” The functional claim is identical: a Jewish collective is why your life is hard. And that claim has a very long, very ugly track record.

It’s remarkably easy to go through your life as a non-Jew barely thinking about Israel or antisemitism. I think that’s how these ideas penetrated the Democratic Party. We had Jew-haters within our midst, but the issue never came up, so we just didn’t know. I didn’t know. And they waited and waited and waited until this information warfare succeeded, and convinced people of this false genocide. Now we have all these antisemites operating in the Democratic Party, working on political goals that are literally identical to the jihadists. Annihilate Israel, controversialize Jews in American life, cede the Middle East to theocratic Islam. And I will admit, I am among the responsible. I wish I’d started thinking about these issues earlier. Because now the cancer has metastasized and it may be too late. I am sorry. I would make a lot of different decisions today.

Israeli musician Itay Benda just lost his entire YouTube channel after 17 years. Terminated over copyright strikes. 17 years of music. Thousands of hours of content. Him playing every instrument himself. His whole journey… gone in a second. And the timing couldn’t be more painful. He’s been using music to connect people from different countries, religions, and cultures — “Peace Through Music.” Now he’s asking for help. If you know anyone at YouTube, in the music industry, or rights holders who can actually look at this with human eyes… please reach out. Share this. Help bring his channel back. He’s not giving up. Neither should we. Instagram Profile: instagram.com/itaybenda/ TikTok Channel: tiktok.com/@itaybenda Facebook Hub: facebook.com/bendaitay/ Am Yisrael Chai 🇮🇱🎶

We just got an endorsement from the Israeli equivalent of Dolly Parton (if in addition to being a singer and actor she would have also happened to be a decorated soldier who was wounded in battle and went back to fighting) - Idan Amedi. Thank you Idan!

The following is intended for those who want to put “די” in the ballot box but are hesitating because of the electoral threshold. (Those who have no intention of supporting us can simply skip this...) One of the biggest (and most common) mistakes Israeli voters make is giving up on voting for the party that truly represents them in favor of a “larger party,” believing that this is a smarter (and more “strategic”) choice. Why is this a mistake? Voters who believe in a small party and what it has to offer, but nevertheless choose to vote for other parties they identify with less, create a self-fulfilling prophecy, especially for parties that are just above the electoral threshold. Worse still, Israel’s political graveyard is full of large and medium-sized parties that urged voters to support them solely on the basis of the “large party” argument, only to lose the opportunity to form a government precisely because they weakened the smaller parties they needed to build a coalition. So, to everyone who wants to vote for us with their heart, I would add that voting for us is also the rational choice. Not only are we crossing the electoral threshold in most polls, but your vote will help ensure that all the other people who currently support us also receive the political representation they want. In this sense, a marginal vote for us is a vote that is “worth more,” because it helps push the party across the electoral threshold, which translates into four seats in the Knesset. Putting “די” in the ballot box is the most rational vote you can cast, and the highest-value vote you can give in this election.

If you want to understand modern antisemitism, you need to go back to Moscow in 1982. This is the cover of Mahmoud Abbas’s thesis, later published as The Other Side: The Secret Relationship Between Nazism and Zionism. Abbas is not just another Palestinian politician. He is the President of the Palestinian Authority, Chairman of the PLO, and the man Western governments have treated for decades as a partner for peace. Yet Abbas wrote his thesis in the Soviet Union, promoting Holocaust distortion and the antisemitic conspiracy theory that Zionists collaborated with the Nazis. But the story goes much further. Documents from the Mitrokhin Archive identified Abbas as a KGB agent in Damascus in 1983, operating under the codename “Krotov,” meaning “Mole.” Think about what this means: The man who leads the PLO today was KGB agent. For decades, the Soviet Union weaponized the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It supported Palestinian organizations and systematically repackaged antisemitism in the language of anti-Zionism, anti-imperialism and anti-colonialism. Abbas emerged from this Soviet political environment and maintained close relations with Moscow. Russia continues to exploit the Palestinian issue to expand its influence, destabilize Western societies and undermine Western alliances. And here is what I find extraordinary. The West has allowed itself to be overwhelmed by a political narrative shaped by one of the most successful and enduring influence campaigns in modern history. An entire generation has been taught to see the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through an ideological framework that was cultivated decades ago by Soviet propaganda. Today, that framework has found powerful new allies in the Red-Green alliance between radical progressive movements and Islamist organizations. The accusations have barely changed. Zionists are Nazis. Israel is responsible for the world’s suffering. Jews are portrayed as powerful conspirators controlling governments, media and wars. What Soviet propaganda once spread through political organizations, universities and intelligence networks is now amplified by social media algorithms, influencers, university campuses and mass demonstrations across Western cities. The technology has changed. The distribution has accelerated. But the ideological foundations remain remarkably familiar. And the most disturbing part? Many Western institutions, politicians and intellectuals have embraced elements of this narrative without questioning where it came from or whose geopolitical interests it serves. The Palestinian cause has become far more than a national movement. It has also been exploited as an instrument of ideological warfare against Israel, Jews and the democratic West. Abbas’s 1982 thesis is not simply a disturbing historical document. It is a window into the ideological origins of a campaign whose influence we continue to witness today.

Has anyone named this the #Cyberpocalypse, #Cyberclysm, or #Cybertastrophe yet? If not, I just did.
So basically, today PHP got two critical bugs that let anyone run code on your server without even logging in, which is bad, and then the details leaked before the patch was even out, which is worse, and it works on WordPress and MediaWiki and Magento and Joomla and Laravel, and Censys says like 1.5 million servers are running a version with no fix, so the NSA was like "take your system offline," and the FBI was like "take your system offline," and CISA and the UK and CERT-EU were all like "take your system offline," and then the Prime Minister of Japan, the actual Prime Minister, posted at 5:55 in the morning telling 48.8 million people to take their system offline, so everyone took their system offline, like the Dutch cybersecurity agency took its own website offline, and the Dutch parliament went offline, and the Port of Rotterdam went offline, and Finland and France and Denmark started pulling government sites, and Wikipedia went down, and Archive.org went down, and Asana and GOG and Something Awful went down, and the University of Vienna's webmail went down for some reason, and that's just PHP. Because GitLab also dropped a CVSS 10.0, which is the highest score they give out, for a bug that's been there since 2014, so that's every self-hosted GitLab for twelve years, and then LiteLLM 1.107.0 got hijacked and shipped a credential stealer and a remote access trojan in every single wheel and the Docker images, including latest, and you didn't even have to import it, just installing it was enough, and it's the second time this year, and then Railway paused every deployment on the entire platform because someone got into the environment variables, so now everyone has to rotate every secret they've ever stored there, and TiDB Cloud said someone was walking around inside with stolen credentials for basically a month and an extortion group says they took 10.6 terabytes, and Zeabur got breached for the second time in two months and is just shutting down, like the whole company, and Node.js patched remote code execution and a TLS bypass, and CISA says Plex is being actively exploited, and someone took over 300 Tor exit relays to steal SSH passwords, and SafePay ransomware has hit over 600 critical infrastructure orgs, and India's biggest bank filed a data loss incident, and Japan has been in an official state of emergency in cyberspace since October 9, which honestly explains the 5:55 AM post. Oh, and eMudhra, a certificate authority that's issued over 60 million certificates, whose entire job is proving websites are who they say they are, was supposed to be using private keys that are random numbers over a hundred digits long, and one of them was 4. Just 4. And the others were like 66 and 237. Anyway, it's Wednesday.

The Muslim Brotherhood no longer needs to win the argument, it just edits the encyclopedia. Austria's state documentation centre on political extremism found that users on the German Wikipedia article about the Brotherhood kept deleting critical sources and adding flattering ones, and the SAME accounts then went to work on the pages of people and institutions that criticise it. Why bother? Because chatbots and AI search summaries learn from exactly those pages. Rewrite the source today, and tomorrow the machine sells it to your children as neutral fact. Ask who wrote the homework, then ask why Europe still has not banned the authors. BTW, the Muslim Brotherhood is banned in the UAE.

Interesting question about trust and provenance. Are human EAs or PAs any different? By what mechanism is an assistant's assertion that they work for a specific person verified? I've seen plenty of movie plots where this weakness is exploited, but how is it *supposed* to work?
Replying to @alliekmiller
Learning 3: identity verification will be a shitshow. I could not have asked for a better Dottie Date companion than Hannah. She threw caution to the wind, assumed everything would work out, and subway'd for 30 minutes not actually knowing if I would be there when she arrived. If anyone pinged me from their AI assistant, I would have to go through my own ID verification and probably call the person. I can't imagine that at scale with dozens of AI proxies throughout the day. How will agents with their own email prove they work for/with a human? How does the recipient trust the information enough to action on it?

Fascinating🧵, so many cool ideas! I wonder if they're applicable to diffusion models...
Models love reward hacking. Maybe we should just let them! In our new paper, we let models reward hack during RL but we dictate which parameters learn this behavior. When we disable these parameters for deployment, the model keeps its new capabilities but doesn't hack!

In 2025, France was told exactly what could happen to Paris. It chose to ignore the warning. Now, consider this another warning to the West before your streets and universities are torn apart. The warning came before the consequences. Again. Ban the Muslim Brotherhood. Deport illegal immigrants. And, like the UAE, treat antisemitism as a crime, not an opinion.

A Jewish man helped America become a country. And you've never heard his name until today. His name was Haym Salomon. He was a Jewish immigrant from Poland who came to America in 1775 and became a stock broker. During the Revolutionary War, George Washington's army was running out of money and needed supplies, ammunition and food. Washington's army said, "Where will we get the money?" George Washington's response was simple, "Send for Haym Salomon." Salomon understood finance and he helped secure $20,000 for the battle that ended at Yorktown. Soon after, the British surrendered. He did all of this while Jews still couldn't hold public office. So after the war ended, he fought for Jews to be able to hold public office too. He died at 44 years old, penniless. He helped build a country that remembered Washington, Jefferson and Hamilton... but somehow forgot Haym Salomon. The Jewish man that helped America become a country!

I am not Jewish. But I am a proud Israeli citizen. I live in Tel Aviv. Despite the world having extremely opinionated views about the country I live in, few people I have come across on X (that don’t live here) know little of substance about Israel apart from their warped sense of history and reality. This is the first post of a series I will write entitled Everything You Think You Know About Israel is (Probably) Wrong. The points are not in any particular order. Spread the word. Most Israelis (just over 50%) are not white. The devastating impact on European Jews of the Holocaust meant that the newly formed Israel in 1948 was largely populated by Jews fleeing persecution in Muslim-ruled countries predominantly in the Middle East and North Africa. These are known as Mizrahi Jews and when the State of Israel was formed they made up 80% of the Jewish population living here. Jews have had a continuous presence in the land of Israel since around 1208 BCE, that’s 3,200 years — long before the creation of the state of Israel in 1948. The Muslim faith, in contrast, dates back 1,400 years (610 CE). Yes, when they lost majority rule in the 7th-century Muslim conquest they were not in the majority for centuries, but still lived in their ancestral homeland. Arab terrorism against Jews existed before 1948. In 1929, for example, 67 Jews were killed in the Hebron massacre, attacked and slaughtered by the Arabs they lived and worked beside. My wife’s great-grandfather Ben-Zion Gershon (who was a local doctor that often treated the Arab community without accepting payment) was tortured, had both his eyes gouged out and was then murdered. This was after his daughter Esther was raped in front of him, and his wife Zahava had both arms chopped off and was left to die. This was just one of many similar massacres inflicted on Jews that day. I will continue this series over the coming days.
