BITCOIN FACES SELLING PRESSURE AS LONG-TERM HOLDERS SIT ON LOSSES
Long-term Bitcoin holders own approximately 4 million BTC purchased between $85,000 and $118,000, according to Glassnode analysts.
With Bitcoin trading near $80,000, more than half of long-term holders' coins were reportedly acquired above current prices.
Glassnode warns that a recovery toward $85,000 could trigger selling from investors seeking to break even. Meanwhile, Bitcoin ETF demand has weakened, although losses realized during successive price declines have become smaller.
Monero?
A brutal year for Bitcoin is just getting started.
Give me three minutes to explain why you should dump it now.
Outflows from ETFs are signal and will continue.
We will test the 57k low again in the next 12 months.
Why?
Because there are far too many dynamic places to put your money that are creating MUCH more value.
Why put your resources into a dead network that offers nothing beyond a store of value?
What's the point of place the BTC be if Bitcoin's Ponzi-scheme nature has gone away!?!
The viral nature of bitcoin was it's power... if you didn't own you were MOCKED!
Now? Completely reasonable, heck, SMARTER, to ignore bitcoin and place other bets!
No one is trying to convince people to buy Bitcoin anymore... the memes and NFTs are gone.
No one is saying $ BTC can change the world, because it won't — and BECAUSE AI HAS!
Just sell and shift from Bitcoin to Super Intelligence because one provides little to no value, and the other provides unlimited upside for humanity.
This should be obvious to everyone right now.
Bitcoin will never break its all-time high again.

🚨 A MAJOR CREDIT CRISIS COULD BE BUILDING IN THE U.S.
The riskiest U.S. corporate bonds are now yielding over 18%, their highest level since the pandemic.
Just six months ago, these bonds were yielding around 13%.
That means companies with the weakest finances are now facing borrowing costs that could make refinancing their debt extremely difficult.
But what's more concerning is the growing gap between strong and weak companies.
BBB-rated bonds are paying around 1.1% above U.S. Treasuries, while CCC-rated bonds are paying more than 13% above them.
And the stress is already spreading through the loan market.
According to JPMorgan:
• $139.8 BILLION in risky corporate loans are trading below 80 cents on the dollar, up nearly 90% in a year.
• $65 BILLION in loans are trading below 60 cents, up from $40 billion a year earlier and the highest since March 2020.
• Technology companies account for 39% of all distressed loans, or roughly $54.4 BILLION.
AI-related borrowing is also becoming a serious concern.
CoreWeave, one of the biggest AI infrastructure companies, has seen some of its bond yields climb toward 15%.
Its quarterly interest expenses have jumped from $267 million to $640 million in just one year.
The company has roughly $50 billion in debt and financing commitments to support its expansion.
Meanwhile, higher Treasury yields, persistent inflation and uncertainty surrounding the Iran war are making borrowing more expensive.
The problem is that many heavily indebted companies need to refinance their existing loans at much higher interest rates.
Some may not be able to afford it.
I can recommend @BitaniaExchange as well for those who want to swap to XMR. Great service with low fees as well comparing to the rest that's out there.
Make sure to have some cash as well.
BREAKING: Japan to urge all citizens to stockpile at least 3 days of food and water in preparation for major disasters and events, with an official emergency request set for November 2.
"At least three days, and I'd like to say a week if possible… please prepare food, toilets, and water properly at home even without public assistance," Japan's Disaster Management says.
It comes just 2 days after the Pentagon started to prepare every major US military base to operate for at least 90 days without outside electricity, fuel, water or supplies, anticipating a major war.
The UK launched the "Be Ready" program 5 days ago, also advising all citizens to keep 3 days of key supplies, including bottled water, non-perishable food, and a battery or wind-up FM radio.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Japan's call for citizens to stockpile at least 3 days of supplies is longstanding official advice for natural disasters like earthquakes and is tied to the scheduled November 2 launch of its new National Disaster Management Agency.

I've added some altcoins during this dip that I think are at decent prices for a nice swing trade: litecoin:native , bitcoin-cash:native , and dogecoin:native . I'm also keeping an eye on solana:So11111111111111111111111111111111111111112 and will add if it drops to $95.
Anyone else think litecoin:native is fairly valued for a swing trade? I just bought some and it’s been consolidating for a while now.

Bitcoin (-7.3%) and Gold (-7.5%) are the two worst performing major assets so far in 2026. This is something we haven't seen before in any calendar year.
