Effective negotiation hinges on clear communication, active listening, emotional control, deep preparation, and the ability to find mutual ground, forming the bedrock of fruitful agreements.

Small habits do not ask you to change everything at once. They ask you to repeat something useful until starting takes less effort.
Once this happens, you spend less energy deciding whether to begin and more time doing the work.

When a device dies, everyone knows.
With MQTT Last Will and Testament, if a device drops off without warning, HiveMQ delivers its final message to every subscriber.
No silent failures, just a will that gets read.

Write "The team is making great..." and your mind already expects an ending. A language model gets there through a sequence of calculations.
You draw on experience with language. The model uses patterns learned during training to work out what could follow.
Microblog @antgrasso
A computer needs numerical representations to process language, but assigning a number to a word is only the beginning.
The model divides text into tokens, which may be whole words or smaller pieces. Each token receives a numerical ID, essentially a label that points to a learned vector of numbers called an embedding.
Now comes the interesting part.
As the model processes these vectors, it builds representations influenced by the preceding context. The same word can contribute differently depending on the sentence.
After "The team is making great...", the model might assign a higher probability to "progress" than to "decisions" or "plans".
It then selects a token and uses it as part of the context for predicting the next one.
And the calculation continues.
Change the preceding text, and those probabilities may change too. Even a small modification to your prompt can influence what the model generates.

Physical AI is bringing new capabilities to the factory floor, from adaptive robots to autonomous mobile robots. As AI moves from pilots to production, securing the systems around it matters as much as securing the intelligence itself. 🏭

The shift isn't from humans to AI—it's from managing tasks to overseeing teams of agents.
As agents coordinate work and increasingly prompt us only when judgment is needed, our value moves toward designing guardrails, context, and decisions.

An HR chatbot can resolve an employee query faster. It cannot decide whether the HR function is organised around the right work.
Gartner's AI-era operating model separates digital HR delivery, strategic talent leadership and HR product design.
The distinction matters because routine service and consequential workforce decisions need different capabilities.
A digital service may handle a policy query. A business facing a difficult capability or workforce choice still needs someone who understands its commercial priorities, people and organisational constraints.
Reducing administrative work should create a reason to reconsider where expertise belongs and how it reaches the business.
Faster answers alone do not establish that HR can make better talent decisions. Leadership still has to design that capability.

An AI agent can initiate blockchain transactions and perform DAO operations, provided it has an authorized wallet and the required permissions.
An agent can go beyond recommending an action and carry it out. People still decide the limits of that authority.
Microblog @antgrasso
Working with a blockchain is different from updating a conventional database. An application with database access can change records, but it cannot simply change a blockchain's shared state. Transactions must meet the rules checked by the network.
The AI agent itself usually runs off-chain.
It analyzes information and decides which action to request, while the blockchain validates submitted transactions and executes any relevant smart-contract code. The AI model does not perform its reasoning on the blockchain.
A decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) allows a group to coordinate decisions and manage shared resources through blockchain-based governance.
Despite its name, a DAO does not need AI to operate.
But it can delegate specific rights or tasks to an AI agent.
An agent could therefore cast a vote or initiate a treasury payment if the DAO's rules permit it. This does not mean giving the agent unlimited authority.
The organization can define which actions are allowed and which still require approval from its members. Smart contracts can enforce programmed limits, although they cannot determine whether the agent's judgment is sound.
The agent can act autonomously within its assigned role, without taking control of the organization's governance.

What works at one site doesn't always scale without a rethink. Before rolling an application out more widely, teams need to decide where processing should happen and how the system will recover when things go wrong.

ADIPEC 2026 is almost here, and the world's largest energy event is growing again.
From 2–5 November at ADNEC Centre, Abu Dhabi: 2,260 exhibitors, more exhibition space and 1,800 speakers. More opportunities to connect.

An expanded exhibition does more than welcome more visitors. It allows companies to show what they are building and gives potential customers more solutions to examine in person.
For me, that is what makes a major industry event useful: a direct conversation can reveal whether a technology fits a real business need.
Bigger in scale, bolder in ambition, greater in impact.
A bigger, bolder, better ADIPEC experience.

Worth asking Google to comment and explain
EXCLUSIVE BREAKING NEWS: google cheated in gemini 4 carbon benchmark reporting.
gemini 4 carbon didn't beat claude opus 5.5 in terminal-bench 4.0. carbon scores 65.2%, below opus 5.5 (66.4%).
but google let artificial analysis run tb4 benchmark, which put opus 5.5 below carbon by lowering opus 5.5 score.
at best this is sampling bias, at worse this is deliberate manipulation of public perception.

What happens when you take the operating discipline of fintech and apply it to one of the world’s most capital-intensive industries?
Alan Chang joined Revolut at 21, became Head of Operations at 22 and Chief Revenue Officer at 27. After leaving at 28, he moved into energy and co-founded Fuse Energy with Charles Orr.
Fuse is trying to combine software, renewable generation, infrastructure ownership and a technology-led operating model rather than behaving like a traditional electricity supplier. The company reported more than $300 million in annualised revenue by 2025 and has since been publicly described at a $5 billion valuation.
But the more interesting story is bigger than one startup.
We are seeing experienced technology operators move beyond software into energy, infrastructure, manufacturing and other physical industries. The next generation of tech companies may not simply digitise existing systems. They may own and rebuild parts of the physical infrastructure itself.
The question is whether the speed and operating models of high-growth fintech can translate sustainably into sectors where capital, regulation, engineering and physical assets matter just as much as code.
