At one point, fans were getting battles from Twork, Geechi, Rum Nitty, Surf, Tay Roc, Chess, Eazy, Ave, Danny Myers, Real Sikh, JC, Calicoe, DNA, T-Top, and more—all in the same era. There were no easy wins. No coasting off legacy. No hiding behind a name. The writing was sharper, the pressure was higher, the cards were stacked, and dream matchups became normal.
