Thank you @FastCompany for giving me the platform during such crucial times to share advice on how business leaders can combat racism in the workplace. Together we can build new habits, and create lasting change in our organizations.

These are the burdens our medical heroes already face in NYC. It's only going to get harder across the country. Another reason to maintain social distancing policies at least until we have comprehensive testing in place. Not just for our sake—for theirs. newyorker.com/news/our-local…

.@froggyradio mentioned a local #Jacksonville Florida family where the wife, husband and their 17-year-old son were all diagnosed with cancer. Here is where you can learn more about them and donate to their fund 🙏🙏elvisduran.iheart.com/featur…
Absolutely heartbreaking. This is exactly why supportful.com exists - to help hard working Americans like this single mom from Alaska ❤️❤️ @joinsupportful @AliVelshi

The new study by @HarvardHealth that just came out a couple of days ago. Discusses the difficulties of having to choose paying your hospital bills over your utility bills. Exactly why I created @joinsupportful , so people can get the help they need! cdn1.sph.harvard.edu/wp-cont…
HOW TO LIVE LONG & HAPPY: According to an 74+ year @Harvard study, spending time with others, opening up to share experiences, supporting one another and developing rich social bonds leads to happier and more meaningful relationships.#besupportful #health bit.ly/2Mh4teJ
Although there's never enough time in the day for everything... be sure you listen to the one relationship you've been in the longest: the one with yourself. Only when we listen to the needs of ourselves can we truly hear to the needs of others.

Great quick read by @fionatappdotcom talking about REAL people using #crowdfunding to cover the gaps in #healthcare needs. Thanks for the shout out to supportful.com! @joinsupportful folks.pillpack.com/is-medica…
The next time you want to reach out to someone going through a tough time instead of asking "How are you doing?", consider asking something more specific, such as "How are you doing, today?", making a potentially overwhelming topic easier for them to approach and open up about.
No matter how grave or forcefully things may be taken from us in life, we will always have one freedom that is always ours: the freedom of our own attitude, in how we choose to react to these circumstances. Be mindful and exercise this privilege thoughtfully.
"Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around." - Leo Buscaglia
Two years ago today my father was taken from me. I created supportful.com in his memory for those who need help, like I did, during the darkest times of their lives. Get practical support with bills, expenses, tasks, errands, meals and supplies today. #joinsupportful
Opening up and being vulnerable can be one of the hardest things to do, trust me I know. Father's Day is coming up and it's the day I lost my dad to cancer two yrs ago. But I know sharing my story can help others know they're not alone; I'm here to listen & help any way I can ♡
