🥲 The SADDEST moment of my life
🇪🇸 The 2016 Champions League final still hurts even after a decade, and after rewatching one of my favourite TV shows 24 I wanted to honour that moment with one of their signature 'silent clocks'. What would your football 'silent clock' moment be? Let me know in the comments!
Maybe he should worry about Sevilla getting financially healthy off the pitch instead of complaining about what happens on the pitch
What ‘financial gain’? Like I’d understand that narrative if Barcas offer was at least 150mil, but 100mil over 6 years hardly sounds like sufficient ‘financial gain’

❌ The BEST DEFENCE in football history?
🇪🇸 Atletico Madrid's 2016 defensive unit is widely regarded as one of the best defences of all time, but this stat from their Champions League knockout game against Barcelona should CEMENT that status!
😱 Is Atletico Madrid's loss to Bayern a GOOD thing?
🤫 History seems to tell us that whenever Atleti are on a bad run of form or suffer a humiliating loss, it seems to also be the time that the team is capable of beating the best teams in the world the very next week. Call it coincidence, but there's something about an underdog tag that Atleti seem to RELISH!
Who’s your favourite name from this list?
For me it’s Raul Garcia. I think EVERY top team in Europe would love to have a Raulito in their squad. Never a pretty footballer but he always got the job done. That header against Valencia in 2014 was as important as Godins against Barca

The CTA has admitted a mistake that favored Madrid vs Racing.
They've previously admitted making mistakes that benefited Barcelona, Atleti, Girona, Athletic Club, Real Sociedad, and others.
Which obviously proves that Spanish football is dangerously prepared to benefit Alaves.
🇩🇪 Bayern Munich OUTPLAYED Atletico Madrid!
🇪🇸 What Bayern could do in 1 touch, Atleti did in 4. The Bavarians were simply better than Los Colchoneros today in the Champions League, and I just hope this is the kick up the arse for a HUGE La Liga game against Barcelona!
If you wanna hear my ‘definitely not over-reactionary’ thoughts to the game, head on over to listen!
Atleti disappointed against Bayern and lapsed into bad habits on a sour night in the UCL.
Going live with my friend @NickFootball7 for a group therapy session soon, join us.
He’s brilliant creatively when centrally but he’s not a ‘midfielder’ - he’s a 10 that likes to drift from the left inside. Only problem is Kang In does the same from the right and Grimaldo does the same from left back. We can’t have EVERYONE doing it
Replying to @MatejMarki69926 @NickFootball7
First thing i wanna say is
BAENA IS THE MOST CREATIVE PLAYER IN THE TEAM CENTRALLY . HE'S NOT A FLIPPIN WINGER
Honestly how Arnau hasn’t seen at least a sub appearance is baffling, especially after really good cameos earlier in the season. Lookman clearly isn’t first team ready atm and should be moved down the pecking order
Atleti 0 - Bayern 2
A game that could be summed up in one observation. What Bayern could do in 1 touch, Atleti took 4 to do. They were better in every part of the pitch and deserved the win.
This result makes the next 4 games borderline must win to secure a favourable progression
I wonder if Barrios finishes the game in midfield or if we’ll see Obed/Mendoza play today. Given the pace of the game I think one of them will feature and I’m afraid it’s gonna be the latter
Not to blame Oblak for all of Atleti’s struggles (FAR more glaring tactical issues) but this just isn’t good enough. 33% long ball success rate 🙃
