🚨 If you have an iPhone, the app I built for creators just got approved by Apple. I've been building this for a while and I'm on a mission to make this the best mobile app available for new creators. This is just the beginning. I'll put a link and details in the first comment.

Creators,
If your struggling with how to get the background music in your videos to sit exactly where you want without overpowering your vocal, this should help. ☮️

If you have an iPhone or iPad and listen to Apple Music on it, check out Chill Vinyl. It's beautiful animated rooms for your music and it's free. You can find it in the app store or I'll put a link in the comments.

I made my Wispr Flow alternative free.
Free: unlimited your first week, then 2,000 words a week forever.
Want unlimited? $20 once.
Wispr Flow is $15/month, and your voice goes to their servers.
Dictation shouldn't cost $180 a year.
Experiment: does free sell more than $20? I'll share the numbers in 30 days.

Dee just dropped a couple of new Creator Mix songs over the last few days. If you use Creator Mix (or if you don't but you want royalty free music for your videos) I'll drop links to the two newest songs in the comments or you can go to the website to download them directly.

🚨 BREAKING 🚨
YouTube is updating Shorts recommendations to prioritize original content
Channels mostly re-uploading other creators' videos without significant changes will likely see less Shorts feed distribution
Love someone's video? YouTube says to share it in your Posts tab instead of re-uploading it
Inspired by it? Add your own commentary, edits or story
Basically: be the Creator

My Friends at @vidsummit don’t forget to go check out the Canon stand they are doing professional headshots. I know some of you need this!! Trust me you do! Go get one! You never know when it will come in handy!
VidSummit hasn’t even started yet and I already got some interesting insights on storytelling from someone who makes viral documentaries, learned something new about databases (unexpected), learned about a cool creator tool that helps revive your back catalog, helped someone come up with a solid plan to make a living off YouTube in the next 10 months and reconnected with some friends. We’re off to a great start!

🚨 Coming to VidSummit? CHECK. YOUR. EMAIL.
We just announced something special with @netflix, and spots are extremely limited. Don’t sleep on this one.
This is what YouTube recommended me on my iPad watching as a viewer on a different account (so I could see the chat) after my stream. Pretty odd one. @reneritchie @hitsman
