'a production that lifelong lover of theatre, Jane Austen herself, would probably have enjoyed.' ★★★★★

Sense and Sensibility is coming to Arches Lane Theatre! And it’s the last show this stage will ever see. 🥀
In this brand-new adaptation, five actors will bring Austen's comedy of manners to life with energy, imagination and a palpable sense of fun.

Maybe less offensive jokes like "Does he want them to wear yellow armbands too?" and do more to stop the Israeli government murdering Palestinians?
Maybe that would both help to stop the killing and conflation in the UK too.

They’ve just shut down visa access to women in Afghanistan living under the Taliban, the women of Sudan seeking safety from war & famine.

After 36 years in business, Brixton News will close on Friday. TfL tripled their rent demands to £120,000 - but since reduced the figure to £85,000, after failing to find a willing tenant.
We can reveal TfL are still yet to confirm the new vendor — and in promo materials envisage the retail unit to be coffee shop.

Very angry with @skytv for upselling a new TV package to a customer they’d been notified had dementia - and doing this *one month* after I cancelled on the customer’s behalf because they weren’t aware they’d signed up in the first place.
When challenged, Sky’s customer service response was that the customer technically ‘agreed’ to the upsell.
For me, this raises serious concerns about how vulnerable customers are being treated and whether @Ofcom guidelines for this group are actually being followed.

Some background on this footage. I think police swept in because they were desperate to get an arrest on camera. By this stage, several hours in, they’d arrested maybe 50 people. Unfortunately, they tackled her just as she’d finished telling me about her grandparents’ and father’s experiences of the holocaust. It was an incredibly jarring and utterly grotesque moment

An absolute HORRIFIC statistic.

An estimated 1000 protestors are in Parliament Square at the moment holding placards that read; “I oppose genocide; I support Palestine action.”
Not a “small handful” any more…
