Day 31 of building MindNotes
Today I wasn't feeling like coding.
I wasn't feeling like writing either and honestly I wasn't feeling to continue the streak.
But I still did a little, I switched on landing creation instead of the app test.
Sometimes when determination is fading the solution is to get some rest and come back stronger.
At least I didn't quit.

So, it's been a month of building in publicπ, and I'm going to make a little summary of everything I've learned. I'm separating it into 3 categories (building, marketing, personal) and sharing what actually worked for me π
Building:
β I validated ideas through users. I talked to people, not just nodded to my own hype.
β I used the MomTest to invalidate one idea. It asks the right questions so users don't just flatter you.
β Just because your app solves a problem doesn't mean people will buy it. I can be bothered enough to pay β but I'm biased.
β Release a reliable MVP fast. It's "Minimum" and "Viable" for a reason β speed matters for learning.
β Tech choice: pick what makes you fast and comfortable. Everyone will argue about speed/cost β but I care about shipping.
β Copying an existing, proven concept is less risky. Start where people already pay. Less glamour, more odds.
β A new concept is harder, but if it works, you get displacement power β few competitors, big upside.
Marketing:
β Go niche. Small groups talk to each other. You get better conversion vs vague impressions.
β Be consistent in your messaging. Don't flip your copy/position 15,000 times β pick one thing and stick with it.
β Building an audience helps, but it's one channel. Ads, organic content, SEO β they all matter.
β Organic content has massive upside if you learn it. I saw people explode by mastering it (@jackfriks).
Personal:
β Discipline is the pillar. It doesn't guarantee success, but it's what people who win all have in β common.
β Know when to quit. Sticking to an app that doesn't work wastes time. Fail fast, learn faster.
β Failures teach more than long-term success. Success fades, mistakes stick β and they shape better moves.
β Stop comparing yourself to others β it only brings frustration and stress. Focus on your path.
In one month I learned to validate with users, ship fast with a comfy tech stack, pick niche marketing, and treat discipline + smart quitting as core habits.
I'm grateful for everyone I've learned from by reading your posts or discussing in replies.
Let's make the next month even better

Since Iβve been sharing my journey, it seems like my mind is clearer.
Writing about my tough times and my experiences makes me realise what Iβm currently achieving and taking it a step further.
Seems like a cheat code:
β You build
β You get confident
β You grow an audience

[MindNotes] Voice to notes apps for builders | Day 29
Today was chaos.
Morning: Fighting expo build errors
Afternoon: Auth flow completely broken
Evening: Rebuilt the entire AI system
The AI rewrite though? Actually proud of this one.
Built a voice profile system that learns how YOU talk. After 3 recordings, it captures your phrases, energy, vocabulary.
So your generated posts sound like you, not like every other AI tool.
Rewrote all the prompts. Changed all the examples. Studied how @marclou , @levelsio , and @andi_losing actually write.
Less polish, more personality.
Tested on my own notes. Still needs adjustments but sounds way more human.
Auth is still broken. Will deal with that tomorrow.
Some days you ship the thing you're proud of while everything else is on fire.

Finally, the X Cheat Sheet is ready to launch! π₯ And I decided to share this for free!!
I poured 6 hours into this and am excited to share it. It contains all the strategies I used to gain 1,000 followers in just 15 days.
When I started, I opened a $20 waitlist and 82 people signed up! If everyone bought it, that wouldβve been $1,600, but Iβve decided to give it away for free. Iβve grown this fast thanks to your amazing support, and I want to pay it forward.
No need to pay $20. Just follow, repost, and comment. Iβll DM you the Notion page link!
Thank you for being on this journey with me. Letβs keep growing together! π

Day 11 of building my SaaS that turns online complaints into real SaaS opportunities.
I clustered thousands of pain signals into groups, so similar problems get merged.
This lets me detect patterns that repeat and ignore one-off noise.
I also fully changed my landing page !

I grew my account from 0 to 200k doing the same things:
- post whatever I was doing (transparency)
- post whatever I was thinking (authenticity)
- engage with the community (reply to replies, reply to posts from others, share their posts, etc)
There were some memes, some listicles, some bangers, but the majority were in the 3 ones mentioned above.
Did this over and over for the past 6 years.
It's fun for me, so it wasn't a chore.
Could have grown faster with a strategy and a system? Maybe. π€·ββοΈ But this way, I made sure I have fun while doing it for a long time.
