BREAKING 🚨🇺🇸 | Joe Biden has stood in solidarity with striking workers on a picket line - a historic first for a sitting US President.
Apparently @HSBC_UK has told @NationalGrid it must make cheques payable to people adding the word "only" after the payee name for security. But HSBC then won't accept the cheque because it now doesn't match the payee name. What fun!

The area has been plagued by in-fighting since Thatcher set up 4 authorities with conflicting interests. Add WECA and LEP. Who oversees skills for care workers? Who plans new bus routes? Who runs schools? Democracy is diminshed when voters don’t know who is responsible for what.
If you want to speak to Bristol, who are you gonna call? The answer has to be better than a committee of warring councillors.

Spoke with a local fish shop/restaurant, forced to temporarily close because it can't get staff. With a smokery it employs some 250 people and it is up to 60 short. It's a good employer and a great local outlet. #BrexitBritain
