So sorry to hear that #timothywest has died. He's been on my mind recently as I'm reading his first biography. A brilliant actor and, from what I've heard, a thoroughly good person. RIP
Saw @ElysiumTc production of #othello last night @carriageworks_ Brilliant performances and simple staging combined for a fantastic evening. The tour continues for another week, go see! #shakespeare #northyorkshire #leeds #yorkshiretheatre
Shocking what has happened and continues to happen @7DialsPlayhouse I benefitted enormously from continuing professional development at #theactorscentre Hopefully the trustees will listen to @AnthonyHopkins @actoratcentre
Are you listening @7DialsPlayhouse CEO & trustees? The legendary @AnthonyHopkins says the sale of the lease is a ‘callous insult..to those who made the Actors Centre possible’. Are you still content to ignore 1000s of actors, @EquityUK & the founders of our vital & unique home?
Having a brilliant time back in my native #northeastengland playing an #anglosaxon lord in @TheatreSpaceNE production of #asyoulikeit We're currently at St Peter's Church #monkwearmouth Further dates @JarrowHall & @durhamfringe #theatre #shakespeare #northeasttheatre – at Sharow, England

Fifteen years. Five prime ministers, seven chancellors, eight foreign secretaries, twelve culture secretaries and sixteen housing ministers.
A thread, for #RantyTuesday.

A couple of days working in #manchester with down time in the #USA. First #sweat @rxtheatre reflecting on the collapse of community & friendship in #Pennsylvania Then #alexgarland @CivilWarMovie a reflection on the collapse of the nation itself. I thoroughly recommend both! – at Horbury, England
