As a family, do you have Bible study sessions and prayer sessions with your children? As a couple, do you spend time seeking God together? In many homes today, parents work hard to provide food, school fees, clothing, and a comfortable life for their children. These things are important. But beyond providing for their physical needs, are we intentionally investing in their spiritual lives? One of the greatest gifts you can give your children is not a piece of land, a car, or a large inheritance. It is introducing them to Jesus Christ and teaching them to walk with God. A family that prays together builds a spiritual foundation that can withstand the storms of life. When children grow up seeing their parents pray, read the Bible, worship, and depend on God, they learn that Christianity is not just something for Sunday mornings—it is a lifestyle. As a husband and wife, when was the last time you sat down together to study the Word of God? When was the last time you held hands and prayed for your marriage, your children, your finances, and your future? The enemy does not fear a family with money as much as he fears a family that knows how to pray. A home where Jesus is honored becomes difficult for the enemy to destroy. The Bible says in Joshua 24:15, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." Notice Joshua did not speak only for himself. He made a decision concerning his entire household. You don't need to organize a three-hour prayer meeting every day. Start small. Gather your family for fifteen or twenty minutes. Read a chapter of Scripture together. Let each family member share what they learned. Pray for one another. Thank God for His goodness. Commit your plans to Him. Parents, your children may forget many of the gifts you bought for them, but they will never forget the prayers you prayed over them. Couples, don't allow social media, television, work, and the busyness of life to consume all your time. Make room for God. Pray together. Worship together. Study the Word together. There is a unique strength and unity that comes when a husband and wife seek God together. Many people want a godly marriage and godly children, but godly families are not produced by accident. They are built intentionally, one prayer at a time, one Bible study at a time, one act of faith at a time. May God raise families that love His presence. May He raise fathers who lead in prayer, mothers who teach God's Word, and children who grow up knowing and loving Jesus Christ. May our homes become places of worship, peace, faith, and God's glory. Don't just be a family that lives together. Be a family that seeks God together. 🙏❤️ #post #biblestudy #newpost #family

Where Should You Start Reading the Bible? 📖 If you’re new to the Bible and don’t know where to start, don’t feel overwhelmed by the fact that it has 66 books. You don’t have to start from Genesis and read straight through to Revelation. Start with John. John introduces us to Jesus, His identity, His words, His miracles, His death and His resurrection. It helps us understand the heart of the Gospel and why Jesus came. After John, read Luke to get a broader picture of Jesus’ life and ministry. Then read Acts to see what happened after Jesus’ resurrection and how the early Church began. From there, you can move into Romans, Ephesians, Philippians, and James. These books help us understand salvation, faith, Christian living, our identity in Christ and how our faith should shape the way we live. Then go back to the Old Testament. Start with Genesis to understand creation, humanity, sin, the fall and God’s covenant with His people. Then read Exodus to understand Israel’s deliverance from Egypt and God’s covenant with them. As you continue, don’t read the Bible just to finish chapters. Read to know God. Ask questions. Look at the context. Pay attention to what comes before and after a verse. Pray before you read. And when you don’t understand something, don’t be afraid to keep going and come back to it later. The goal isn’t simply to say, “I’ve read the Bible.” The goal is to know the God who revealed Himself through it.

TY for the prayers & check ins 💜 Fires are out, keeping myself from igniting them again via people-pleasing 🫠 & trusting in the unknown because I know my work ethic & I KNOW how good God is 🙌🏼 Pivot: #NiksRead_Share is postponed as I will be recovering from vision surgery 🙏🏼

Ohhh the #WIP of “peaceful” mornings 😅😅😅 Day 3 & the bliss is officially being tested: - groggy irritability from all of us randomly having restless nights all of a sudden (despite going to bed earlier) 🤔 - lacking patience & compassion for little, growing minds (still learning to read smoothly, practicing out loud, & listeners losing their minds 😆🫠) - the mind-swirl of irrelevant frustrations & coping mechanisms of competitiveness to finish writing first 🙈 (obvi NOT ever the goal with this) 😅😮‍💨🙃 & YET.. everyone’s super pumped for the day 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ #AWinIsAWin #CountingOurBlessings #SpiritualWarfare the enemy can shove it 💪🏼🙏🏼👊🏼✌🏼🤪

Our family’s new daily practice: Writing a Key Verse of the day 3-5x - to make peace in our day - to remember what we read - to keep familiarizing our mind, body, & heart with God’s living word for when we’ll need reminding of God’s goodness, grace, mercy, & love 💜 #JoinUs
