The Chinese attack on Turks on X has been incredible. Not for the sheer volume alone, but for the wit, and a few other aspects that left an impression. They identified the layers of nation-building propaganda, peeled them away, and mentally challenged them to their very soul. Most could only respond with swearing and sexual innuendos to rebuild pride. This was a lesson in itself. A nation of smart people needs a mythology based on truths. Chasing pride won’t last under pressure. This applies to Europeans. We can’t build a lasting identity with euromaxing, DEI, welfare, and nostalgia for the good old days. The Chinese are more grounded than I thought about who they are and their situation. Some didn’t see themselves as better, but as constantly battling daily life, and being baffled with idiocy as they said. We all do daily life activities, but the intent differs. They likely live better than most yet believe they still believe they have more to do. I admire that: not settling, hard-work mode. It’s why America succeeded—it rewarded hard work with profit and status. Hard work, narrative based on truths as much as possible, and high wit. All easy to integrate to Europe as the people already value these. We just have to slightly shift from the current tyranny of the minorities to a “majority = priority”.
