New for @49ersHub There's a lot of hype around the #49ers defense, and ✍️ Nate wrote exactly why that is in his debut article! Check it out! ⬇️⬇️⬇️ 49ershub.substack.com/p/why-… ✍️ @MidwestFaithful 📸 @mattfraser_9

The #49ers being one of them. Make the call, John. You don’t get this chance often.

What’s stopping the 2-5 jets from trading Garrett Wilson in a similar fashion to the sauce Gardner trade? Similar Age Similar Production Similar Situation Would allow Omar Cooper Jr & AD Mitchell to lead this room. By the time they are ready to compete Garrett Wilson will be approaching 30 and need a new deal. I can think of at least 5 contending teams that would part with premium picks for a true WR1.

First week without a 49ers game to look forward to. Stress free. Won’t get another till the first round bye 😴

Jets’ WR Garrett Wilson on his future with the team: "I want to win games. That’s the one thing we've been missing on here. I love it here. Do I love it more than I love winning? No, to be completely honest. But I'm hopeful."

Mike Evans, DeMarcus Robinson, Deebo Samuel are not guaranteed to be back next season for SF. Ricky Pearsall is no longer being counted on. Stribling is promising, but an unknown. Potential huge piece for the future. Yes, go get Garrett Wilson.

Now why would Garrett Wilson be following Upton Stout if they’ve never played against eachother…

If the NFL draft were held today, the New York Jets currently would hold the 6th, 9th and 11th overall selections.

Sources: The #Bears have had interest in trading for defensive help, including interest in DeForest Buckner, who wanted to be back in San Francisco. Chicago is still scouring the defensive market and they’ve been linked to Khalil Mack by rival teams.

The 49ers still could be looking at defensive ends. I've mentioned one of them too many times to do it again, and maybe he isn't available, but I imagine they're still interested.
