Godzilla Minus Zero delivered on everything you could want in a Kaiju movie & MORE! My biggest takeaway from these last two Godzilla films is just how well they handle the human side of the story. Normally, you want the people OFF the screen so you can get back to watching giant monsters fight & destroy everything in sight. But these last two films actually make you CARE about the people caught in the chaos. You feel for them, you root for them, & it genuinely hurts when someone doesn’t make it out alive. The central theme of the original Godzilla, the fear & consequences of nuclear power, hangs over both films in every way imaginable. It’s a reminder of what makes the Godzilla franchise so iconic and horrifying in the first place. Now, THE MONSTERS THEMSELVES… GOOD GOD(ZILLA)!! Godzilla & King Ghidorah have NEVER looked better! Every time these two Kaijus share the screen, it’s an absolute spectacle. An eternal rivalry that’s still burning strong decades later! Overall, another stellar addition to the King of the Monsters franchise! 9.5/10 — THE KING LIVES ON!! 👍🦖💚 #GodzillaMinusZero
