If you are in crypto now,grinding in these horrendous market conditions, lemme tell you something about yourself that you may have taken for granted. Despite living in the most information-rich, technologically advanced age in human history, the average person is increasingly distracted, passive, intellectually complacent and financially disadvantaged. People are also increasingly becoming unemployable. Struggling to meet the basic demands of adulthood, let alone taking the initiative to build something. Your competition just want to scroll on socials and blame the government for everything, demand all kinds of compensation from their employer whilst doing the bare minimum. But you! You log in daily onchain and grind for years regardless of market conditions. Upgrading your skills, connecting with peers, educating yourself and adapting constantly. Crypto isn't linear. Don't let your portfolio balance make you believe you are behind. You are part of a very small percentage of your generation who actually possess the rare skill of agency. Compared to the general population, you're already ahead of the curve. But crypto attracts some of the most ambitious, obsessive and resourceful people you'll ever meet. Don't mistake being ahead of the average for being ahead here. You are doing the difficult things whilst your peers swim in the comfort of passive consumption and mediocrity. Almost everything worthwhile requires some combination of patience, repetition, frustration, delayed gratification and persistence. You are on the right path. Keep showing up and getting better every day. I'm not posting this to coddle you though. If you've truly chosen this path, then step into it fully. There is no half-assing this. Crypto is a very competitive industry with some of the most hard-working, high-agency people you'll ever meet. Get a job if you can't give it your all, but if you want this, bring your A game, cos if you don't, others will and they'll take everything away from you.
