The left hand has no idea what the right is doing. Voters are dead on ECI list but alive on Rajasthan’s panchayat roll - my superb colleagues @meherk___ @DikshyaKoirala7 @nidamominn investigate for @reporters_co Do read here 👇

Molitics India @moliticsindia is a habitual plagiarist. And shameful at that. It's the second time the handle has blatantly ripped off the hard work of my @reporters_co colleagues. I hear it has done so with others as well. As a non-profit we keep our investigations free for citizens to read and rely on donations to carry out our work. It's quite obnoxious how this influencing and consulting agency, pretending to be in news and media, spends crores every year only to plagiarise others' hard work. Dump the plagiarist, read the OG investigation by my colleagues here: reporters-collective.in/trc/… Images: The company behind the handle, its annual expenses, its directors, and its plagiarised insta report.

Just amazing work @reporters_co and may someone be investigated and prosecuted eventually. And bureaucracy must know that there will be exposure and one day consequences. So proud of independent media work on SIR !

The @ECISVEEP must carry out a physical check of these names declared “dead” by ECI but found live and eligible by the State Election Commission. If true, even in a fraction of these 1.82 lakhs cases, it’s a scandal. One more scandal.

The ECI gets brutally exposed day after day. This is not just incomptence but a toxic combination of malfeasance and mischief.

Well.. this is getting dangerously crazy.. The ECI still wants the electors who are victims of their illegal SIR to once again fill their enumeration forms with a statement on why they were not able to fill it earlier.. Gyanesh ji.. you have lost it completely. It is your people (BLOs) who have to honourably go to the houses of the voters and do an well established procedure called the "local enquiry" (i hope the ECI has not forgotten these procedures as mandated by the RP act and rules) on the status of their domicile and enumerate them. Enumeration forms themselves do not do enumeration work. understood????.. @AnjaliB_ @ECISVEEP @RitikaChopra__ @reporters_co
Urgent Update Extremely significant ECI communication following SC’s direction in Delhi SIR case On October 28, 2026 in the Delhi SIR matter, the SC had observed that making deleted voters on ASDD list fill Form 6 was an ERROR. SC had said that such voters should be allowed to fill enumeration form/ Form 8 if they are marked as permanently shifted or as absent/ untraceable. Today, the ECI has issued communication dated November 6, 2026 addressed to CEOs of Delhi, Maharashtra, Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Telangana and Nagaland on facilitating inclusion of left out voters. The communication states: - Voters who are on ASDD list as they had shifted residence, can fill enumeration form along with a statement with details of their new address. In case of homeless persons, field verification by BLO will suffice. - Voters who could not submit their enumeration form within the deadline and are on ASDD list can submit their enumeration form now along with a statement on why they were unable to do so earlier. - All those on ASDD list who will now fill enumeration form along with the applicable statement will be re-assigned their old EPIC number. All such cases will be parked for inclusion in final voter list following due verification. - Wide publicity must be given to all these initiatives, including through media, social media, announcements, reaching out through WhatsApp etc. and facilitation and assistance to be provided to voters. We welcome this communication issued by the ECI. We believe this is an important step in addressing large scale exclusions caused during SIR. The provision to re-assign the old EPIC numbers is important as it will ensure preservation of voter’s historical record of being an existing voter. Just in Delhi, out of 47.56 lakh deleted in the first phase and put on ASDD, 31.59 lakh were marked as permanently shifted and 11.73 as absent/untraceable. The SC had observed that asking such people to fill Form 6 with its declaration of being a first time voter was an error. We urge the CEO of Delhi and all other states to take immediate steps to operationalise these critical directions. Anjali Bhardwaj & Amrita Johri Petitioners in Writ Petition (Civil) 1188/2026 & IA No. 317050/2026 Petitioners are being represented in the SC by advocate Prashant Bhushan along with Neha Rathi & Cheryl D’souza.

The Siang Indigenous Farmers Forum has declined the Chief Minister's invitation to hold talks on the Siang Upper Multipurpose Project (#SUMP). The organization stated that it will not hold talks with the government unless the detainees are released, armed forces withdrawn. In a letter sent on November 3, the Chief Minister’s Office invited the organisation for talks in Itanagar between November 5 and 7. #SiangUpperMultipurposeProject

Anti-Siang hydro dam activist Katon Moyong (#Aborman), who was recently detained by the Delhi Police for #protesting against the project, has outright rejected the government’s invitation for talks on the #SUMP. Asserting that the time for discussion has passed, he stated, "No dam means no dam." Moyong also dismantled the government’s national security narrative, terming it a false narrative.
