Milena Anfosso's 2020 examination of Bryges and Phryges argues against explaining every variant with a single simple sound change. She proposes a reconstructed Bʰrug- group for some forms and a possible Wreg/k- group for others, including a potential Phrygian endonym vrekes.

Replying to @Nnefariousjack @vegastarr
Frisians are not related to Phrugians.
Frisians (Frisii): The endonym/exonym for the Frisians stems from a Proto-Germanic root *frisaz interpreted as meaning "curly-haired" or referencing coastal meadows/estuaries.
Phrygians (Φρύγες): Anatolians known in the Bromze age as the Bryges (Βρύγες).
They don’t even sound similar and are ethnically different and speak completely different languages.
Do you not know that Phyrgia in Greek is pronounced Froo-Gia. Not Frigia.
You are just a weird obsessed tweaker who I don’t even spend a second reading, so take this as a rare exception.

Sacred stone huh? You should probably understand the significance of sacred stones before you say really stupid shit about Amber to someone who knows exactly why it was used.
Considering.
The Roman-era relief from Birrens shows Brigantia with:
A helmet, spear, shield, and Gorgon's head associated with Minerva/Athena.
Wings associated with Victoria.
A mural crown representing the protection of communities.
A globe and sacred stone.
So, let's pretend we're working with a murder board.
Ladies, who love murder docs this is for you too.
Let's say a man named Constantine, has a supposed first wife Minervina (vanishes)
Has a wife named Fausta, who he kills while pregnant.
Murders Crispus the official heir.
Now, what if I told you his mother. Who has votives all over the Netherlands was named Nahalennia, also goes by Minerva.
Her name which is Celtic, is a descriptor.
Linguist Patrizia de Bernardo Stempel proposed a Celtic derivation involving:
*ne- — at, on
*halen- — sea
*-ja — feminine suffix
Another scholarly interpretation is “Steerswoman” or “She Who Leads,” which is especially interesting because Nehalennia protected merchants and sailors crossing between the Rhine–Scheldt region and Britain.

So, then Minerva is connected to Brigid.
romaninscriptionsofbritain.o…
And Celts are absolutely connected to Lycians.
(Feel free to ask me about werewolves now)
Also, in case you want the Celtic/Lycian evidence:
nitter.gq/Nnefariousjack/status/…
Now, you have to explain why "Friso" is paling around with Phillip the II, and Alexander the Great.
Considering.
nitter.gq/Nnefariousjack/status/…
Yep, Phillip the II would have to be related to someone in La Tene because of the Hercules ancestry he claims not only does that put him into contact with the Thracian/Celt side that's using the Rhine/Danube to Gaul corridor it puts his son with the North Sea navy in India, where their coins reflect these exact changes.
Hercules is directly responsible for putting Priam on the throne.
"Its relief shows Priam, king of Troy, kneeling before Achilles and begging for the return of Hector’s body essentially the climactic scene from Iliad Book 24. The cup was manufactured in Italy around the beginning of the Common Era and ended up buried with an elite man at Hoby shortly afterward.. in Denmark..."
Ooo my daddy died at York.... my mom's name is all over the Netherlands, but I'm a fucking bitch boi with my daddies sword. - Constantine
Hey guys how come Constantine is taking the Gorgon off his mother's shield?
Oh wait, it's because she's from up North and you people suck at reading.
You're absolutely retarded if you don't think Nicholas wasn't going up to "Frisia" where he's super fucking famous, has churches on terps, and everything overlaps with Minerva.
This is childs play horse shit.

Catherine Draycott's 2019 study identifies the supposed snake-like forms that gave Yılantaş its name as parts of lion carvings. Her reconstruction discusses warriors, lions and a Gorgon head, rather than securely identifying a literal serpent-combat scene. She also places the monument in the Achaemenid period, potentially the fifth century BCE.
I know.
