🏛️Next Steps for The Council: Unfortunately our mint did not go as expected. We truly believe in the value we are bringing to the ecosystem, both with our infrastructure and with our art. Our objective was always to bring true innovation to SEI. Below we share our steps in order to still deliver the technology we want to provide to the ecosystem and to benefit the minters, while also adjusting to the reality of our scenario. ===================================== Here is what we are doing: - We have now closed our mint. 460 NFTs were sold during the mint and they will be fully REFUNDED to the minters. - Every minter will also be randomly airdropped 5 extra Council NFTs, because we want to ensure we have a healthy collection size (around 3k). - Trading will open soon after the airdrop is concluded. - Nimbuz platform will continue its development and release its closed beta in February. We are committed to bringing this useful platform to the SEI ecosystem and allow different communities to form DAOs and have better coordination and governance. The Council’s DAO will still launch via the Nimbuz platform, however, with the mint being fully refunded the treasury will be adjusted and initially funded with 35% of secondary sales royalties. Council NFT holders will be able to decide how to best use the funds in the treasury. ===================================== Our team will work on other possible avenues to further grow the treasury via grants, partners and outside investments. While not the outcome we desired, we are still committed to delivering on our vision. We are confident with the full refunds to resolve any dissatisfaction with our project.
