We spend so much time preparing women for childbirth and so little time preparing them for postpartum recovery

Nothing is more addictive than those pages that summarise an entire movie in less than 10 minutes. 😂 I can sit there for hours watching one movie after another, then complain that MTN is finishing my data too fast. I know who the real problem is. 😭 #DataTruth #LiveIt100

9 Things Your Body Needs Before You Get Pregnant 1. Start folic acid - at least 3 months in advance 2. Get basic tests - AMH, TSH and semen analysis 3. Cut caffeine to 1 cup a day 4. Quit smoking and alcohol 5. Maintain a healthy BMI 6. Sleep 7-8 hours a day - ideally by 10 pm 7. Eat more protein, healthy fats and leafy greens. 8. Exercise (30 minutes) daily 9. Manage stress - it is silently delaying conception

Every time I feel guilty about staying in bed all morning, I remember how many generations of women were expected to get up at dawn, light fires, cook breakfast and spend the entire day looking after everybody else. So I roll over and go back to sleep as an act of feminism.

Girl to girl: – Use coconut oil for inner thigh chafing – Baking soda for smelly feet – Benzoyl peroxide wash/glycolic acid for smelly armpits – Cold tea bags or a cold spoon for puffy eyes – Vaseline on your pulse points to make your perfume last longer – Sugar scrub for softer lips – Try the supported child’s pose to help relieve cramps

I visited the Python Temple at Ouidah, Benin Republic 🇧🇯 The people of Ouidah worship these Pythons as their god. The Pythons sleep during the day and stay awake at night. You are not allowed to scream or make noise when with the Pythons. The Pythons are harmless.

Traveling alone is funny because I can change my itinerary 6 times, eat at 3 different places, sit in a museum for 2 hours, and nobody can complain.

How Long to Stay on Supplements (And When to Stop) Vitamin D: 8-12 weeks, then check levels Iron: Usually 3 months, then check Vitamin B12: 2-3 months, then recheck Magnesium: Try for 4-8 weeks Biotin: Take only if needed Omega-3: Can be taken long-term Creatine: Can be taken long-term Collagen: Give it 8-12 weeks. If you want to know if your daily supplement dose is working, take it as normal leading up to the test. If you want to see if your body has fully recovered and can maintain its levels without the pill, you need stop the supplement for 48 hours for B12 or 2–4 weeks for Vitamin D before getting drawn.

One reason I don’t like chatting with faceless accounts is because there was this person I chatted with for days, and the vibe was good. The conversation was flowing, everything was perfect After some days, I asked to see a picture of them. They sent it, and the vibe died

Have you ever seen a crocheted cake before? Well, if you haven’t, this is one and it’s not just an ordinary cake. It is a Chocolate Drip Cake, with Strawberries and Oreo Cookies toppings 🤭
