Just after 1:00pm a propane truck crashed on WB I-84 in the Echo Interchange. First responders report the driver had just exited from WB I-80 on I-84 when the crash took place. The driver indicated he was transporting 10,000 gallons of propane and reported a leak. (1/2)

#TBT of I-80 / U.S. 189 between Park City and Wanship in the 1960s. The first group of pioneers in 1847 followed a route north of here, heading west from Echo Canyon to Henefer (the route followed by I-84), & then south (the route that S.R. 65 follows now) to Emigration Canyon.

Effective 12:01am, 20th day of July, 2020, the State Forester has prohibited the use of fireworks in all unincorporated areas of #SummitCounty, on both private and public land, due to current and forecasted weather conditions. Details are in the attached Restriction Order.

First responders with @SummitCountySO, @NorthSummitFire and Summit County EMS are on scene at North Summit HS where a 1.5 inch gas line was hit by a construction crew. Both the middle school and high school have been evacuated. No word on how long the schools will be evacuated.

Just as a brief reminder, #EMAC is the Emergency Management Assistance Compact. It is a system of state-to-state mutual aid coordinated by @NEMA_web. This map includes everyone deployed on #UtahEMAC.
We also have 80 personnel deployed under @ROSS_NWCG coordinated by @NWCG.

Today, we sent 100 firefighting personnel to fight #CaliforniaFires under #EMAC (state-to-state mutual aid). They join about 80 Utah firefighters already deployed. All will return home in two weeks. Safe travels, everyone!

A gas line was struck in the area of Iron Horse Drive due to some utility work that was being done. The surrounding area has been evacuated for safety while the gas company works to address the problem. The Captain on scene has estimated they will be there until approximately 4pm

The #MonvisoFire is estimated to be 65 acres in size. The acreage represents three spot fires within the Monviso development. No percentage calculated, but containment work has been going strong since early this morning.
