I've now had three guests on my @30MinsofFame show that were given a timeline to live and all three of them said "Oh hell no"
I think that's pretty amazing!

Senior?
Boys are getting rude
Replying to @NotDeadBret
Focusing solely on heavy pulling movements for a senior lifts a valid concern regarding joint longevity. How are these specific exercises tailored to manage age-related connective tissue changes?

I'm very specific in what I direct my clients to do
Their lifestyle is the cause of their physical ailments, we need to counteract this in the gym
For example: sitting at a computer all day. Rounded shoulders, hips/hamstrings shorten, thoracic spine rounding, glutes no longer firing, disengaged scapulae
They want to "look better" so they start training haphazardly or buy a general program
But a good coach is going to look at what you do 23hrs/day and implement exercises which counteract that destruction and build strength through the 1hr we're in the gym
Your training NEEDs to be tailored to your lifestyle otherwise you're doing yourself a disservice in your physical pursuits
Pic on the left I was 195 pounds, this was 2 weeks after my colon surgery. 18 months later I was down to 162 (2/15/25). I looked like I was on chemo. I couldn’t eat, energy was tanked and really hit a lifetime low.
Fast forward 18 months and I’m back at 195 12.4% BF and close to the best shape of my life.
In that 18 months I’ve had 2 heart attacks, GI Bleed, multiple blood transfusions and 2 different PE episodes.
Through it all the gym, getting sober, a solid crew around me l, and a ton of work I’ve taken my life back.
You can truly just do things
Pretty amazing view for the evening stroll. LDS temples are so amazing and they are obviously everywhere out here. There’s actually 2 in this pic, one is across the lake.

Ozempic DOUBLES your risk of sudden blindness?!
That's what David Sinclair told Joe Rogan. And technically, the research supports an increased risk.
But here's what they left out: we're talking about roughly ONE extra case per 10,000 people per year.
There's a massive difference between relative risk and absolute risk.
Let's talk about it.
