Biggest deviation from the books so far seems like they really just want Chani to have an inflated role in things. We shall see... youtube.com/watch?v=uJqaGLmZ…

Anybody follow what happened with the Mises Institute following DiLorenzo's ouster and Hoppes letters?

1.5 days ago Hermes kanban cards lost the ability to ping their source sessions when complete. This makes it almost unusable for dev. I switched from the stable build to the latest hoping to get a fix sooner. It worked for a few hours until an update hit and broke kanban cards totally. I love the speed of development here... There's already an open issue and pr for it. But we also need some more QA gating please @NousResearch <3

If producing an improv'ed rant video on a topic is a 1 on the effort and difficulty scale, producing a polished explainer video is a 10, composing an article to publication standards is a 100, and getting it shopped around, reviewed, edited, and accepted to publication is a 200. This should inform your trust in the value of info you get from YouTube content.

Demoralized?🤣I've never been so excited and white pilled. Imagine thinking begging at the slaves' suggestion box for yet another election is "doing something".🤡Let the plebs into that cuckoldry be demoralized (they should be—it doesn't work—we have 200 years of data for that).

Some of the Neo-Amish we're dealing with are quite insufferable. Speed running irrelevance whilst trying to drag everyone else with them.

All pro intellectual "property" arguments eventually come to an emotional desire to have a property right in value itself. Completely incoherent.

Money is the advanced technology of peace and prosperity. We are the only species that uses it because the others cannot comprehend consent nor care about your self-ownership. The alternative is the opposite of anarchy—might makes right, the strong take, the weak starve or die.

If I was put in charge of designing Voyagers golden record I probably would have gone with the same designs... But I'd have also put some wild MC Escher style impossible fractal stuff on there so they'd think we were so far ahead of them they'd never want to fuck with us.

I'm just going to start blocking these AI spam accounts that lead every post with "THIS IS F*CKING INSANE!" followed by a link to some AI repo.

Most agents still "research" a topic by googling a blog. @MaximeRivest just opened semantic search over ~200 million papers with no account needed. Point your agent at this URL and tell it to add it to its toolbox. 2026 is so cool. api.sciencemadereadable.com/…
I have embedded ALL of Science and made it available for free, so your agents can now do semantic search over the whole scientific litterature. I think this is big. I hope to provide casual use for free. Point your agent at: sciencemadereadable.com/?api they will know what to do. Friends don't let friend's agent use blogpost to ground their answers. Of course, it also all opensource, links to repo on the page. If you want to hit up the service at a higher rate then 10 req/min DM me. the embeddings are powered be: lightonai/DenseOn

With code you need an antagonistic QA/Security agent team to gate keep bad code. When writing philosophy articles I can't tell you enough how important it is to set up a critic team that watches as you write, blowing holes in your weaknesses in real time. For this Block human shields article I created a Block agent well versed in all his papers on the topic and had him watch as I wrote keeping up a constant barrage when I slipped up. When it was done I created an agent for the paper itself and had it debate the Block agent. It's like hardening your attack surfaces in IT ops. You need to get attacked to learn where your defenses are weak.

Another idea I've used. I have a team of philosophers, each focused on their specialty. I then have them take turns attacking, defending, and being neutral judge of the disputes.
