Smash Ultimate is THE biggest in person esport, no other game has people going to locals and getting 20+ entrants a week and a major every weekend. We are the true grassroots title of the 2020s

Would anyone in Long Island be interested in getting in person Smash Coaching? I can come to you or we can meet at a local location. I have a capture card and all the equipment we would need to record/do the session, even a portable monitor etc. Let me know!

As someone who bought games both digitally and physically, I never once knew I was only buying a revocable license. If I had known, I would have stuck with physical completely

Sony argues that “reasonable consumers” already understand they don’t truly own their digital games. Fine—change the confirmation button from “Purchase” to “Rent” & see how sales are affected. Consumers will immediately hesitate, exposing how misleading the current terminology is

Went to two locals today. Got 3rd at the first and 2nd in the second. Ran into the same Roy who knocked me out of the first bracket in the second tourney and won. Also won the runback on the dude who knocked me into losers to begin with. I love smash bros.

Game and watch is the most honest top tier in the current meta. Low bar, but still true.

It’s insane to me that any American can learn about what ICE is doing and think that is an acceptable thing and not become sick to their stomach. They want an unaccountable secret police that targets people simply for speaking out against our government. It’s terrifying.

Saw a Sonic player at the monthly save replays from friendlies and record them on his phone for review later. I want to take that energy of improvement with me too.
