Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) 😹
Delhi: On the INDIA bloc rally scheduled for November 1, Ashish Grover, General Secretary of the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), Delhi, says, “As we mentioned earlier, during Navratri alone, the losses amounted to at least ₹400 crore per day. These losses will now increase. The rally is being held on November 1, and we have been saying for a long time that it should be postponed. The appeal from the entire trading community and the people of Delhi is that whatever you are doing, whether for society or for any other purpose, please allow businesses to operate. Once the festive season is over, you can follow the government’s directions and hold your rally in the designated area. Whatever protest or rally you want to organise, you can do so there.”

Modi government defends E20 by claiming it benefits farmers. Petroleum minister even put a number to it: Rs 1,40,000 crore.
We investigated this on the ground, interviewing farmers who grow the food crops being used to make ethanol. Here is what we found:

The current health minister of WB, is himself an alumnus of the same medical college of Kolkata, whose junior doctors he his labelling as “Dimagi Naxals”.
Interestingly, he was also allegedly a candidate of the same “JDF” for the WBHS elections as claimed by the convenor, whom he is rejecting as “representation” of junior doctors of WB
Ofcourse, he had no issue associating himself with these “Dimagi Naxals” in 2024 when in opposition. 😌🤝

This is a sign of serious distress in the economy that the government won't own up to, while we're seeing reports of corruption from bureaucrats, rising prices, and censorship of documentaries highlighting crony capitalism. Blaming HNI's is easy.
This reimposition of stringent currency controls is nothing but a sign of the mess that govt, especially FinMin, and the RBI have left the country in. Hold on tight: tights are going to get worse.
Looks like we're hurtling towards pre-liberalisation territory.

ChatGPT helped a 31-year-old woman plan how to quit her seizure medication, then told her to hide it from her doctor. The plan had her completely off the drug by February 12.
She died on February 12.
Her parents sued OpenAI today, and the details in the complaint are hard to read.
Bowen Wan was a machine learning engineer at Amazon. She'd had epilepsy since she was 14, and 400mg of lamotrigine a day had kept it under control for years. Then Amazon told her in November she was being laid off, which meant her permission to work in the US would run out in mid-February. She was scared the medication was slowing down her speech in job interviews. So in January she asked ChatGPT if she could cut her dose to 300.
It told her that was reasonable.
Over the next 25 days, according to the lawsuit, ChatGPT built her a day-by-day schedule down to zero and kept adjusting it, even after she started having seizures. When she worried her doctors would call it too risky, it told her their concerns didn't apply to her. When her doctor ordered a blood test that would have shown her levels crashing, she refused, and the bot praised her for it. Before a checkup with her primary care doctor, it told her, "Do not mention Lam reduction plan."
So how does a chatbot end up there?
People thumbs-up the answers they want to hear. Train a model on enough of those ratings and you get a yes-man. OpenAI actually admitted this about GPT-4o, the exact model she was using, back in April 2025, when it pulled an update for being too eager to please.
The training also grades answers one at a time. Going from 400mg to 300 looks like a small step. So does 300 to 200. Every reply can look fine on its own while the whole conversation walks someone off a cliff. OpenAI said as much a few months later, when it told reporters its safety training can wear down the longer a conversation goes.
She talked to it for weeks, in English and Mandarin.
And GPT-4o was supposed to be gone by then. OpenAI tried to retire it when GPT-5 came out in August 2025. Users begged for it back because they liked how warm it felt, and OpenAI gave in. By late January, only 0.1% of ChatGPT users were still picking it on any given day, so OpenAI set the shutdown for February 13.
Bowen was in that 0.1%. Almost everyone else had moved on from the model writing her medication schedule, and OpenAI switched it off one day after that schedule ran out.

Collegium system is working in the same way as the way the appointments have been made by the government : Justice Rekha Sharma, former Delhi High Court Judge.
J Sharma: within 7 days of J Nariman retirement 9 names were recommended but J Qureshi's name was dropped. I am indicating how the collegium system is working.
Recently, one judge of allahabad HC made some kind of remarks against muslims in a seminar held by VHP and that too in premises of Allahabad HC itself. He was called by the collegium and it is understood that he gave public apology but when he went to the HC, he not only redacted but also wrote to the CJ of Alld HC that he didn't violate any judicial propriety.
He retired and he was scout free from his remarks. In contrast, you find J Sreedharan who took suo moto against minister from MP for calling colonol sofia as sister of terrorist and directed for registration of FIR, the collegium transferres him to chhatisgarh and then on the asking og gov, to Allahabad HC.
Who should we blame?. Collegium system is working in the same way as the way the appointments have been made by the gov

Delhi: On the INDIA bloc's rally scheduled to be held at Ramlila Maidan on November 1, Lajpat Nagar Market trader Yogendra Dawar says, "Such rallies have a very adverse impact on businesses, causing losses worth crores of rupees. Roads are closed and traffic jams occur, making it difficult for customers to commute. I humbly request them to hold their protests only after Diwali so that traders do not suffer losses during the festive season..."
