Ward 16 in Buffalo City results are so pleasing to me, Ntsika has been ignoring Dawn, Morningside, High Gate, Summerpride, Cambridge West and the rest of Amalinda for far too long.
My moms village really disappoints, at this rate they'll never get roads or benefit from the mining happening in the area😒
The road rehabilitation tender being fumbled over 5years really rubbed my people the wrong way in my neighborhood , them(ANC) redoing our street before elections put the final nail in the coffin😭
COALITION BREWING IN BUFFALO CITY
With nearly a third of the votes counted in Buffalo City, the ANC is leading with 38.68% of the votes, over the DA, which has 21.23%. The UDM is not far behind at 18.54%.
The ANC has been running the metro outright, but the DA and UDM's gains may see a hung council and the need for a coalition.
Voters have often shared their frustration for the current mayor so the result may be a referendum on her as much as on the ANC.
