The movie is a nearly perfect film, but it glosses over some of the themes of the book. The Jurassic Park of the novels is wildly unsafe because they are so excited to cash in on the dinosaurs they don’t bother in investing time in understanding their product.
It’s a series of errors all the way down that will get people killed, had already gotten people killed, and all it took to tip the island over into chaos was a tropical storm, something the park had somehow not accounted for.
This is the most based take I’ve ever read, Elfquest fucking rules
Ebon Moss-Bachrach says he didn’t read many ‘FANTASTIC FOUR’ comics as a child but he really liked ‘ELFQUEST’
“I think some of my earliest sexual visions were ‘Elfquest’”

Yall remember when this mf was selling lean to kids on the Power Rangers movie 😭😭
“John Hammond. You ‘spared no expense’ for your dinosaur park. 27 park employees have been eaten by your carnivores - it certainly seems as though you could spare them. Lets see if you can be fed into the jaws of a T-Rex just as easily as they were fed into the jaws of industry.”

The smartest thing Scarlet Spider 2011 did was put Kaine in Houston. If you’re going to have like 15 spider-people at least put them somewhere fun and far away from New York
If I was in charge of the MCU I simply would have not titled the culmination of the entire universe so far “Avengers: The End”
"Avengers: Endgame" directors say Marvel's recent struggles are not due to superhero fatigue but "a big generational divide about how you consume media."
“There’s a generation that’s used to appointment viewing and going to a theater on a certain date to see something, but it’s aging out. Meanwhile the new generation are ‘I want it now, I want to process it now’, then moving onto the next thing, which they process whilst doing two other things at the same time. You know, it’s a very different moment in time than it’s ever been. And so I think everyone, including Marvel, is experiencing the same thing, this transition. And I think that really is probably what’s at play more than anything else.”
