SICKENING ROAD RAGE: DRIVER USES VAN AS A WEAPON AGAINST CYCLIST
Horrifying footage shows the moment Mark Okotie deliberately drove into a cyclist during a road-rage confrontation in South London.
Okotie, 44, was delivering blood destined for hospital patients when an altercation broke out with the cyclist in Lewisham on March 20, 2024.
After pursuing the man, Okotie swerved towards him, accelerated and struck him with his van, running over him before appearing to drive away.
The cyclist, in his 20s, suffered multiple pelvic fractures and a fractured femur, requiring surgery to insert metal fixings.
Okotie was arrested after witnesses identified him and has now been jailed for 3 YEARS AND 6 MONTHS after being found guilty of grievous bodily harm with intent at Woolwich Crown Court.
The judge described it as an act of “extreme road rage”, telling Okotie he had caused serious injury to the cyclist.
The victim has spoken about the lasting impact on his life, including struggling to exercise and feeling anxious when large vehicles approach him while cycling.
He was supposed to be transporting potentially life-saving blood. Instead, he used his van as a weapon.

£1 MILLION WORTH OF STOLEN CAR PARTS SEIZED
Asif Iqbal-Khan has been jailed for 2 years and 3 months after police uncovered thousands of stolen car parts at two sites near Maidstone, Kent.
Detectives found engine components, body panels and other parts linked to 40 reported stolen vehicles.

The discovery followed a stop on the A20 near Swanley, where officers pulled over a red Ford Transit minibus suspected of using cloned number plates. The driver had keys labelled “Shed 6” — leading investigators to the second site.
💷 The estimated value of the seized car parts was £1 MILLION.

CARER CAUGHT STEALING JEWELLERY FROM VULNERABLE ELDERLY CLIENT
A carer who stole thousands of pounds worth of jewellery from an elderly and vulnerable man she was employed to look after has been jailed for three years.
Lara Jones, 50, from Mark Beech, Kent, was caught on hidden CCTV rummaging through her client’s bedroom drawers and wardrobes before pocketing jewellery worth £8,000.
The thefts took place at the victim’s home in Oxted, Surrey, on 26 November 2025.
After noticing jewellery was missing following Jones’s first shift, the family became suspicious and installed hidden cameras in the bedroom.
When Jones returned for her next shift, the cameras allegedly caught her stealing from the property.
The victim’s daughter contacted Surrey Police on 3 December after viewing the footage. Officers attended the address, arrested Jones and recovered the stolen jewellery during a search.
Jones denied the allegations and stood trial in August. A jury found her guilty of THREE COUNTS OF BURGLARY at Guildford Crown Court.
On Friday 9 October, she was sentenced to THREE YEARS IN PRISON and ordered to pay a £228 victim surcharge.
The victim’s family said the betrayal of trust had a profound emotional impact, particularly given their father’s vulnerability.

CANNABIS GROW HIDDEN BEHIND SECRET CUPBOARD DOOR
A drug dealer who hid a cannabis-growing operation behind a secret cupboard door has been jailed for 16 months.
Marius Dardha, 33, was caught after Kent Police raided a property in Riverbank Way, Ashford, on 4 August 2026 as part of an investigation into serious organised crime.
As officers entered the property, Dardha attempted to flee through the back door into the garden but was stopped and arrested.
Inside, police discovered FIVE SEPARATE ROOMS adapted for cannabis cultivation, including a concealed grow room behind false walls, accessible by crawling through a small cupboard in a living-room sideboard.
Around 250 MATURE CANNABIS PLANTS were seized.
Investigators also examined Dardha’s phone, finding photos and videos of the plants suggesting he had been involved in supplying cannabis since September 2025.
The Albanian national admitted producing cannabis and was sentenced to 16 MONTHS IN PRISON at Canterbury Crown Court on 20 October.
Police said the property had been heavily modified, with cultivation waste stored throughout the house and electrical systems bypassed in ways that could have created serious safety risks for neighbours.

1 TONNE OF HASH HIDDEN UNDER BREAD! 🍫🥖
Spanish police have uncovered more than 4,000 KILOS OF HASHISH at a farm in Ayamonte, Huelva, with more than a tonne hidden in an underground compartment concealed beneath around 100 loaves of bread.
The unusual hiding place caught investigators’ attention because there were no animals on the property to explain why so much bread was covering the floor.
Police discovered the hidden compartment and found over 1,000 kilos of hashish inside, secured with firearms, including a weapon reportedly ready to fire.
The operation also saw the arrest of the alleged caretaker of the drug stash, who was caught attempting to transport 600 KILOS OF HASHISH in a trailer attached to his 4x4.
Investigators say the criminal organisation allegedly used fishing boats and high-speed narco-boats to bring large quantities of hashish and cocaine into Spain via the Huelva coastline and the River Guadiana.
The drugs were then stored at locations across the region before being prepared for distribution throughout Spain and other European countries.
The investigation began in 2024. The arrested suspect has been remanded in custody and faces alleged offences including drug trafficking, membership of a criminal organisation and illegal possession of firearms.

FIRST RUSSIAN MAFIA VORY CORONATION MEETING IN 13 YEARS
For the first time in 13 years, a meeting to crown new vory v zakone — known as thieves-in-law — has reportedly taken place, marking a potentially significant development in the Russian-speaking criminal underworld.
The meeting was reportedly held in Rome, Italy, on 22 October, with senior figures from the Oniani–Dzhangveladze faction in attendance, including Tariel Oniani, known as Taro, and Merab Dzhangveladze, also known as Merab Sukhumsky.
Initial reports stated that seven Georgian men were initiated into the ranks of the vory v zakone, while subsequent reports claimed the number was eight.
The development is particularly significant because a reported moratorium on new initiations had been in place since 2013, associated with influential underworld figure Zakhary Kalashov, better known as Shakro Molodoy.
The latest meeting has reportedly reignited tensions between rival factions, with conflicting reports over whether Shakro approved the ceremony or rejected its outcome.
The Oniani–Dzhangveladze faction, sometimes referred to as the “Italians”, has a long history of rivalry with competing groups in the post-Soviet criminal underworld.
The vory v zakone tradition represents a recognised criminal hierarchy with its own codes, status and internal rules. Being crowned is a significant distinction within this world, rather than simply being labelled a gangster.
Whether the Rome meeting leads to further coronations or a wider power struggle remains to be seen.
⚠️ The reported meeting, number of initiations and internal disagreements are based on specialist crime reporting and have not been independently confirmed by official authorities.
