NEW: Mike Waltz says a Cuban official who allegedly attacked one of his staffers during a confrontation at the UN is getting a one-way trip back to Cuba.
The U.S. ambassador says the trouble started when Cuban diplomats tried to pressure a UN clerk into shutting off his microphone as he spoke against the regime.
But things escalated off-camera. Waltz says a staffer filming the confrontation was pushed and slapped, with a Cuban official knocking the phone out of his hand.

The 33rd signature was listed as “Dr. Abdul Rahman El-Sayed” of New York. This is Abdul El-Sayed. The New York Times has confirmed he signed it while in medical school
In the months that followed Egyptian authorities pursued journalists on charges including “insulting Islam” and “insulting the president.”

'DARK MONEY': A mysterious group calling itself the American Forge Coalition is blanketing battleground House districts with mailers attacking vulnerable Republicans — and a Fox News Digital investigation found it's not even registered with the Federal Election Commission.

California’s counting rules exist just so election night leads can get reversed weeks later.
When in 2024, John Duarte led by more than 3,000 votes on election night, the state still had millions of ballots unprocessed. He lost by 187 FOUR WEEKS after.
2 days after the polls closed, 5.47 million ballots remained. Secretary of State Shirley Weber said they take pride in not being rushed.
California mails a ballot to every registered voter, counts anything postmarked by Election Day that arrives up to 7 days later, then gives counties 30 days to finish.
Before Florida fixed its system, it was a national joke after the 2000 recount and Broward’s slow 2018 count that forced Brenda Snipes out. But after those failures, it now counts nearly all 11 million votes on election night by requiring mail ballots by 7 p.m. and letting counties process them weeks early.
California wrote the month long delay into law, and in a close year, it leaves the House undecided for weeks.
