Hey @bryan_johnson, the Rejuvenation Olympics is raising awareness of longevity, yes, but there is much progress to be made before we can call it trustworthy. I've seen numerous red flags with the RO leaderboard as of late - One month ago when @WSJ was interviewing me and others for this story, 9 of top 10 on RO were suddenly removed from the list; the 1 who remained was you. Somehow you went from #7 to #3. The ruleset has changed multiple times without explanation or transparency. Participants were dismayed. If you really want this to be a legit and fair competition as you claim it is, you should not be making the rules and overseeing it – you have a blatant conflict of interest. Instead, an independent body of scientists with no conflicts of interest should be – that's what the community deserves. I'd be happy to work with you on revamping the RO in the vein of transparency, and to reach out to respected Omics scientists and make that happen if you're willing to hand over the reins to them. I think it's great that you're bringing awareness to the field and I believe that you have the right intentions. Think of the public benefit something like the RO could have when we really can trust in it.
