I was talking to my kids yesterday about being nice.
I grew up with the Midwest “be nice” culture. (Colorado has that, too). It hasn’t worked out well for me, tbh.
I told my kids that we’re not doing that anymore. We’re not victims and we will never be.
We’re going full northeasterners.
