Across the country Americans let their voices be heard & used the democratic process to elect their political leaders. While I remain staunchly committed to my conservative principles, I do wish all the newly electeds well & pray that they will govern Constitutionally and in the best interest of the Nation and those who call her home.

National Artificial Intelligence Association (NAIA) President and CEO, Caleb Max, issued the following statement on the results of today’s midterm elections:
“We congratulate the Democrats for their victories to regain the majority in the U.S. Congress, and the National Artificial Intelligence Association looks forward to working with new leadership to enact responsible policies that enhance AI innovation and maintain global competitiveness.
"This was the first election where AI played a pivotal role in how the American people voted. Legitimate concerns about job displacement, cyber security, data centers, and impact on our children influenced voter decisions from Florida to Alaska in races from School Board to U.S. Senate. Unfortunately, misinformation about AI and data centers, along with policy inaction, have made voter concerns even worse. In some cases, candidates used legitimate voter concerns about AI and big tech in order to stoke fears and win votes. As this midterm election comes to an end, it’s time for Washington DC to govern and to lead.
“While split control of government often means policy gridlock, NAIA will advocate for bipartisan legislation that prepares workers for an AI-enabled economy, national security, and developing the compute and energy infrastructure American AI leadership requires. NAIA encourages Leader Hakeem Jeffries to pioneer the creation of a “bi-partisan Select Committee on AI” to streamline this process. To protect AI innovation, this framework must create a unified, single federal policy framework rather than a fragmented “patchwork” of state-level AI regulations. Artificial intelligence is the most transformational technology of our lifetime and it is still growing by leaps and bounds; now is the time for regulation that will determine if AI continues to grow the economy and jobs, or create risks for our American way of life.”

I'm not going to let the left do to America what they are currently doing to Europe.

All Democrats like @MarkWarner do is tell you “Trump is wrong” never what they would do. Remember their open borders policies and soaring crime rates. Remember the Inflation Reduction Act which actually soared the cost of living. All supported by Mark Warner. #StopLying
Americans want safer communities and lower costs. Instead of targeting dangerous criminals, Trump is targeting construction workers, worsening labor shortages and driving up housing costs. From his war in Iran to his tariffs and immigration agenda, Trump’s policies are making life more expensive for working families.

Cornell is debating whether to abolish Greek life after the horrific Jane Doe case against the Cornell 7. I served on Student Assembly and was secretary of my fraternity there. Here’s why banning Greek life won’t make campus safer. It’ll just make student loneliness worse.🧵

There is no comparison! One flat out lied, the other is traversing a few unforced errors and struggling to focus on a clear strategy. Either way, the American people want to FEEL relief when it comes to skyrocketing cost of living and they want to feel it now!

This election cycle is existential & its results will decide which tale of America we live in. Republican & common sense independents had better get motivated & get out the vote. Great to join @jeffcrouere on @RealAmVoice to talk through what’s at stake.

@glennyoungkin saved Virginians nearly a billion getting out of RGGI.

WSJ: The AI Build-Out Is Biggest in U.S. History
When Democrats advocate for a Pause or Moratorium, they know that would wreck the U.S. economy. But since it’s the Trump economy, they’re fine with that.

Reminder that ZERO Virginia Democrats have had the courage to call out Spanberger’s insane sanctuary policies.
Not one candidate for Congress.
Not one elected member of the General Assembly or local official.
They all endorse this madness.
🚨 CHAMATH PALIHAPITIYA ON ELON MUSK
“I think it’s fair to say that we have had a lost decade in Silicon Valley.
When you look at the most incredible technological achievements the Valley created in the last decade, you’re hard-pressed to find them.
In one example, you have Elon. He’s created reusable rocketry. He’s created an entire global mesh of communications infrastructure. He’s created electric cars.
And he’s done that with one hand tied behind his back, fighting the government at every single turn.
What have the rest of us done? We’ve created AirPods and Instagram Reels.”

Thanks to President Trump’s leadership on AI:
— a million new jobs have been created around the AI buildout;
— 401(k)s are up ~12% this year as AI capex and productivity lift the market;
— America is re-industrializing, including the first large private investments in power generation and the grid in a generation;
— In rural Richland Parish, Louisiana, teachers just received $50,000 bonuses from data-center tax revenue.
Because the media portrays AI only as a menace, people tell pollsters they “don’t like AI.” Their behavior says otherwise. AI products are the fastest-adopted technology in history — faster than the internet or the iPhone. People like the tools, the jobs, and the tax base.
President Trump understands the media hoax cycle better than anyone else. That is why he is refusing the “pause” that Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren are demanding. A pause would not make America safer. It would hand the frontier to China. That would be a disaster for the American economy and for national security.
Great opportunity to become a member of @TheNAIAorg and attend the 2nd NAIA Dinner. The first one with Secretary Hegseth was outstanding! #AIpolicy #AI @everyone
