In Chinese mythology, daylight began not with the sun, but with the opening of a dragon’s eyes. Zhulong (燭龍), the Torch Dragon, was a cosmic deity with a human face and a serpent’s body. When he opened his eyes, day dawned; when he closed them, night descended. 1/2 #mythology

Dracula never speaks these lines in the 1897 novel but there is throwaway moment In the book where he says 'I too can love'. Until this film we had never seen Dracula as a love beyond the grave story but its #loveneverdies theme has endured.
