What looked like a queen’s downfall was actually the first move in God’s rescue plan.
King Xerxes spent 180 days showing off his wealth. On the final day, after too much wine, he ordered Queen Vashti to appear before the men wearing her crown so they could admire her beauty. She refused. The king was furious. His advisors panicked that if she got away with it, every wife in the empire would start despising her husband. So they made an example of her. A royal decree went out. Vashti was stripped of her position. The crown was empty.
Most people stop the story there and call it pride or disobedience. But look closer.
That empty throne was not a failure. It was preparation. Because of Vashti’s “no,” a young Jewish woman named Esther stepped into the palace. And through Esther, God saved an entire nation from destruction.
Sometimes the closed door, the public rejection, the sudden loss of position or plan is not the end of the story. It is the exact opening God needed for the next chapter. What feels like an ending can be the setup for His greater purpose.
You may be sitting in a season that looks like loss right now. A relationship that ended. A door that slammed. A position you thought was secure that disappeared. Don’t rush to call it failure. Ask instead: “Lord, what are You preparing that I cannot yet see?”
His plans are higher. His timing is perfect. And the crown that was taken from one woman became the very place from which another would change history.
Trust Him with the empty throne. He already knows who belongs in it next.

Have you ever read "pray continually" and wondered how that's even possible?
Does God expect us to pray every waking second? Should we be talking nonstop?
For a long time, I thought praying continually meant I wasn't trying hard enough. If I were more disciplined, more focused, more spiritual, maybe I'd finally figure it out.
The prayer life you're longing for isn't built by trying harder to talk to God. It's discovered as you learn to participate in the conversation He already started. One moment, one response, one shared experience at a time.
The God who started the conversation is still speaking. Still present. Still inviting you to walk with Him.
Jesus described the life of faith as abiding in Him like a branch connected to a vine. Branches don't produce fruit by striving harder. They bear fruit by staying connected. Prayer is one of the ways we stay connected.
And as we stay connected, we begin to notice things. A nudge to check on a friend you haven't thought about in months. A prompting to say the thing you've been holding back. A quiet invitation to forgive something you'd held onto.
Those moments are part of prayer, too.
Not the talking part.
The responding part.

Very often in the Old Testament, water represents the presence and work of the Holy Spirit. As we apply the symbolism of this prophecy to our own lives, we can see that there are varying degrees of the anointing of the Holy Spirit we can choose to operate in.
For some of us, we operate in an anointing that is only ankle-deep. Some of us are waist-deep, others neck-deep. However, there are mighty currents in the river of God that put us in a position where we no longer have to stand on our own; instead, we can move in the flow of God.
In 1 John 2:27, we see a reference to the anointing of the Spirit.
We see reference to the anointing again in Isaiah 10:27, amidst the prophecy of the remnants of Israel. From this passage, we can see that the anointing of the Spirit has great power and, as the verse states, can “destroy the yoke” and burden.
We must confess before God our desire to get out of the ankle-depth and waist-depth we have been operating in. We need to ask God for such an increase that we would only be able to swim in it – for a full anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Deuteronomy 8:10-When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the LORD your God for the good land which He has given you.
This was written by Moses to the Israelites telling them not to forget that its God that gave them the promised land. The same can be said for America.
The land God gave Israel was a land flowing with milk and honey, and our country is too. We have all we can eat, and freedom and wealth like no other nation in history.
And yet, some brainwashed people think socialism/comunism is what we need. I believe that is the result of the hippie generation that have taught in schools and universities for the last several decades and it is becoming a cancer on our culture.
As a nation, we have turned away from the God of our forefathers and embraced secular humanism and all other pagan religions. The one true God has been pushed out of the picture.
We need to keep America and our leaders in prayer before God and ask Him for revival among Christians in our country. If we were to become as bold as the apostles on the day of Pentacost, we could change America.
But if we continue the way we are going, we will be heading to destruction. Our freedom will be just a memory and these socialist kooks will rewrite history as they are already trying to do.
We have forgotten about the blessings God has shed on us.

Rice Distribution for All Prisoners
August 9, 2026
A total of 300 kg of rice was distributed to all prisoners. The distribution included:
sick prisoners,
minors,
women,
and men.
This humanitarian activity was organized by HMPM (Humanitarian Madagascar Prison Ministry).
We give thanks to God and express our sincere appreciation to FOMM (Friends of Madagascar Mission) for supporting HMPM, making it possible to provide rice for these prisoners.

How many of us feel this exact way…but never say it out loud?
We make endless room for other people’s flaws, excuses, and messes…while quietly working overtime to become “impossible to leave.”
Terrified that if they ever saw our imperfections the way we see them, the love would stop.
It’s human nature...
We are often our own harshest critics.
We freely extend grace to others that we refuse to give ourselves.
But Scripture never called us to live in that prison.
God does not ask us to ignore our flaws or pretend we have none.
He invites true self-reflection…
the kind that brings things into the light so He can heal them…
not the kind that keeps us circling the same shame, fear, and self-condemnation.
We stop the automatic “worst about me” thoughts by taking them captive and replacing them with what God says is true:
✝️There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

✝️Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

✝️We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
