The subject for the horrific shooting today that took the life of Charlie Kirk is now in custody. Thank you to the local and state authorities in Utah for your partnership with @fbi.
We will provide updates when able.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Director Patel has since published an update from his official @FBIDirectorKash handle that "the subject in custody has been released after an interrogation by law enforcement" and that the FBI's investigation continues, meaning Mr. Kirk's killer remains at large. x.com/FBIDirectorKas…
DC's violent crime crisis is a national disgrace. Mayor Bowser, the police chief, and others must step aside and let DC Metro's brave officers be heard. Kudos to President Trump for stepping up to clean up our capital. Respect to the men and women of DC Metro keeping us safe.

Five officers shot in the last 4 days, and one K9 dead.
The latest officer shot is from the Hawaii Police Department assigned to the East Hawaii Vice Division. The officer was shot in the head and arm, currently in serious but stable condition.
Please keep this officer and all of law enforcement in your prayers, as the War on Cops rages on America.
Prayers from Oklahoma City!
Please say a prayer for @FopLodge27 member Danny Fynes. He is battling cancer and could use your prayer. Danny has been a dedicated public servant for over 40 years. We worked together at 911 before starting our careers in law enforcement. Dan was also a community coach for years

Before the ink dried on the last post, we’re mourning another fallen Brother.
Officer Andrew Duarte was shot and killed earlier today in West York Borough, PA.
Please pray for his family and continued prayers for law enforcement across America. 🙏🏼💙
Watch the harrowing moment that two of our officers were confronted with a life and death decision.
So much training and preparation goes into how to safely react in these moments. Grateful that both officers are ok.
Please call 911 if you see or locate this endangered missing individual.

What an outstanding display of heroism, bravery, and diligence. Trooper Miller thank you for pursuing this wanted fugitive intent on killing law enforcement.
This is dash cam and body cam from the pursuit that ended on the Turner Turnpike on April 2. The suspect, Charles Carswell, led Trooper Brack Miller #950 on a pursuit and shot through his back windshield at Trooper Miller several times during the pursuit.
OKC FOP President Mark Nelson released the following video statement regarding last night’s officer involved shooting and other violent crimes committed recently in our city. As always, we remain committed to protecting our community, and we appreciate all who #BackTheBlue.

Powerful powerful words from the @NYCPBA President as he speaks at #officermora’s funeral. A hero saving lives even as he was dying.
Thanks to the courage of his hero family, Police Officer Wilbert Mora's heart beats on. #FidelisAdMortem

⚠️ Violence against the police continues, with no end in sight. As long as rogue prosecutors are in office, no one is safe—not law-abiding citizens, not police officers.
LEOs can once again deliver historic results reducing crime. But not if we’re handcuffed from doing our job!
The continuing education and data collection around this subject is something we support as our officers are faced with this daily.

There are individuals across the United States that kiss their loved ones goodbye each morning, not knowing if it’ll be the last time. They go to work each day to protect us, some making the ultimate sacrifice for complete strangers.

The blatant hate and vitriol in this video provides a clear window for the public to see what our officers deal with every single day. This woman’s lack of decency coupled with her attempt to dehumanize this officer is disgusting and shameful. She claims to be a teacher… 👀
