여러분, 안녕하세요! 🇰🇷
We are days away from our first trip to Seoul!
Come meet us and @friendliai on Nov 5th.
We would love to see you there!

Two companies, one goal: open models that work for builders at any scale.
@jmorgan of @ollama and @vipulved of Together AI on where open models win, how to spend tokens wisely, and what developers want next.

LFM3: new generation with six edge models
I'm super happy with LFM3-1.7B, it's an absolute (agentic) monster
Introducing 𝙻𝙵𝙼𝟹: our new generation of Liquid Foundation Models. With a new tri-hybrid architecture and new multimodal encoders, the LFM3 family is the ideal model suite for specialized intelligence.
> 6 model instances, across text, audio, vision, and omni modalities, generative and decision models.
> 𝙻𝙵𝙼𝟹-𝟷.𝟽𝙱: text, 256k context window.
> 𝙻𝙵𝙼𝟹-𝚅𝙻-𝟸𝙱: vision-language model with video-input support for spatial understanding
> 𝙻𝙵𝙼𝟹-𝙰𝚞𝚍𝚒𝚘-𝟸𝙱: tool calls, voice chat, reasoning in 18 languages.
> 𝙻𝙵𝙼𝟹-𝙾𝚖𝚗𝚒-𝟸𝙱: an omni model combines vision, audio, and language.
> 𝚍𝟷-𝟸𝙱 and 𝚍𝟷-𝙾𝚖𝚗𝚒-𝟸𝙱: decision models with typed outputs and calibrated probabilities in a single pass. Omni adds audio input.
> fine-tune on 1 GPU.
> a new tri-hybrid architecture
> architecture optimized for 14 processor classes across GPUs, CPUs, and NPUs.
> 𝙻𝙵𝙼𝟹-𝚅𝙻-𝟸𝙱 is a beast. It performs competitively with Gemma 4 12B (6x larger), and Gemini 3.5 Flash Lite, and GPT-5.6 Luna, with 1.9B parameters.
> 𝙻𝙵𝙼𝟹-𝟷.𝟽𝙱 is #1 on the Pareto frontier of device intelligence 𝚙𝚒𝚙𝚎𝚝𝚝𝚎.𝚕𝚒𝚚𝚞𝚒𝚍.𝚊𝚒
Every modality for specialized intelligence. Pick the one that fits your use case, customize it, and run it on-device.

Defensive work shouldn’t mean sending sensitive data somewhere you don’t control. You can run open models locally with Ollama, or on Ollama’s cloud with zero data retention.
More security teams are coming to @ollama to run open models for defensive work.
Defending a system means understanding how attackers get in, which means using models that will help with things like exploit analysis and red teaming. Most closed model providers only allow that through special access programs. Open models can be used by any team, on their own machines or on servers they control.
Open models can be misused and teams should run them with care. But attackers already have them, so defenders should too.
Spark-X2.6-4B is here! Stronger coding, agents & long-context skills through improved post-training. Thinking: none / low / high.

New open models ship fast. Ollama's developers expect them on day one.
@ollama runs that workload on NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs through Crusoe Managed Inference, in Crusoe Spark™ modular data centers in Nevada.

Meet Flint from @Recursive_SI! A ~40B parameter MoE open model for fast, accurate agentic coding use case made to run on-device.
Flint can generate >125 tps on a M4 Pro Macbook Pro and >150 tps on a 64GB NVIDIA RTX Spark on short contexts.
Try it on Ollama today:
ollama run flint
Claude Code:
ollama launch claude --model flint
Introducing Flint, @Recursive_SI’s first model: a fast local coding model built with our automated research system, the Eureka Machine.
• Best-in-class fast local coding
• Up to 2x faster than comparable models: 125+ tokens/sec on a MacBook Pro, 150+ on RTX Spark
• Built from scratch in under 4 months
Private, unmetered intelligence on your own machine. Open weights available now on @huggingface, run it locally on your favorite framework or try it for free on @opencode or @pidotdev.
We've spent the last several months scaling our compute footprint right here in the U.S., and we got to see some of it up close at the @CrusoeAI and Redwood Materials site in Nevada. Thanks @Electron_Cowboy and @ChaseLochmiller for the tour!
Excited to keep building with Crusoe to bring our users day-zero models and full ZDR, with top performance. We look forward to sharing more soon 👀
San Francisco showed up! 🌉
@ollama's @jmorgan and @TrajectoryLabs' @MichaelElabd joined Crusoe's Erwan Menard to explore a fundamental choice for AI builders: closed, open, or proprietary models?
📸 Moments from an incredible evening. Stay tuned for our next AI talk.
