KANEO PUTS US IN THE LEAD! Our first real attacking spell of the match so far and after some sharp quick passing Russell Dingwall plays in Kane Hester who rolls it home

“What has failed recently was not due to our structure or model, but to one individual’s desire for self-preservation at the expense of others.” It’s amazing that in his rant against Rodgers, Desmond produced a line that perfectly sums up his own role in Celtic’s decline. A board of cardboard cutouts for him to hide behind. Self-preservation.

On 17 October 1860, one hundred and sixty-six years ago today, the very first Open Championship was played on our 12-hole links. Eight golfers gathered, competing not for prize money but for the Red Moroccan Leather Belt, a prize established to honour the Champion Golfer after Allan Robertson's passing. Willie Park Sr would hole a 30-foot putt on the last to beat Old Tom Morris by 2 shots. Little did these men know what their invitational, which became an Open the following year, would come to be. #TheOpen #GolfHistory

Brilliant!
I’ve been texting Matt Fitzpatrick every time he wins. Only issue is he has no idea who I am

O’Neill needs to put his hands up, accept he is not up to it and give someone the 3 week international break to figure this shit show out.

Competition for the worst call of the season is officially over.
#MUNMCI – 59’ VAR OVERTURN VAR checked the referee’s call of no goal for offside – and determined that Haaland was in an onside position and recommended that the goal was awarded. The VAR also deemed that while in an offside position, Fernandez didn’t play the ball.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Rule 2 of the offside law includes the wording "A player in an offside position ... by clearly attempting to play a ball which is close when this action impacts on an opponent", suggesting Enzo Fernández should have been ruled offiside. thefa.com/football-rules…

An absolute pasting. Managerial disaster-class. There’s got to be some world class excuse making to defend the manager after this one.
