The history is repeating itself and I'm seeing a lot of people on X bashing, and even boycotting, the standard iPhone 15. Reason? No 60hz and dedicated telephoto. While, in my opinion, the bashing is well deserved by Apple, isn't it too redundant and useless? It was neither leaked, nor we expected that the iPhone 15 would come with these features. Why is everyone acting surprised and rageful? I'm telling you a year in advance that the iPhone 16 is not gonna have these features either. I'll live-stream myself shaving my head and beard if that happens. That's because the consumers buying the standard models don't want and don't care about on-paper specs. iPhone 15 is gonna be the best-selling phone in 2023-2024 anyway. The people who do care, which includes you and me, and everyone else in our X tech community, are already buying the Pro's. We boycotting the standard 15 does nothing. The only way something's gonna change is if sales drop, and I'm not seeing that happening anytime soon.
