This #TeacherAppreciationWeek video from @OVMS_Falcons perfectly captures how we feel about #PowayUnified teachers ❤️ To our education heroes: Know that you're doing a great job, you're needed, and we miss you all! Thank you to OVMS PTSA for the vid & @KUSI_GMSD for the feature.

Student: "I hope you don't mind me turning this in tomorrow instead. My brain is fried."
Me: I'm fine with tomorrow or tomorrow or tomorrow.
We can always give our kids another tomorrow. Always. Deadlines and due dates are artificial ends. Empathy exceeds. Empathy endures.

Essential tips for reflecting on the choice boards, learning menus, or playlists we are proving to students.
Choice alone ≠ #UDL."If you aren’t providing accessibility and flexibility and aligning those with the goals of your lessons and online learning environment, then you cannot provide the choices necessary to meet the needs of your variable learners." bit.ly/2XwXF4U #a11y

The creativity of our teachers is truly inspiring. Many are producing their own content to help students with the transition to DL. Alyssa Dykes is an AVID Coordinator & Humanities teacher @OVMS_Falcons. She made this vid on how to maximize the experience: youtube.com/watch?v=wF4V4K9c…

We love how @OVMS_Falcons math teacher @TraciTeacher is chalking her walk with math problems every day for her students and neighbors to solve.
Enjoyed my #mathwalk to share @robertkaplinsky's #openmiddle problem. Someone walking by (6 ft away) ended her phone call to thank me b/c the only reason her husband and daughter walk is to see new sidewalk math ❤️. bit.ly/mathwalks2020 #iteachmath #MTBoS
