For $IREN longs. Just created this to print and frame in my office at work. @IREN_Ltd is the preeminent, best-in-class HPC infrastructure company. Their managerial foresight and execution sets the bar. $IREN $200 soon enough Credt: @FransBakker9812 for the aerial photograph

OK let’s imagine that! $500M would fund Medicare for exactly 4 hours. Hospital closed by lunch. Medicare costs us $1.2T a year. Thats $2.7B per day. You people literally have no clue how anything works. You elect people who are financially illiterate, and everything gets worse.
Imagine if Elon's $500 million had been spent on education or healthcare. Or the arts. Anything.

Agree
Completely reasonable and exactly what the data center industry is doing; in fact, they are doing much more than just: 1. Pay for your own energy 2. Recycle water 3. Get the consent of the community Data centers create jobs, pay taxes and donate to various community efforts. Extremely bullish for Texas and SI if @jamestalarico is being forthright here. ... and if you're lucky enough to have a data center want to be in your town, and they follow these rules, you should extract as much money from them for your local schools and playgrounds!

.@JamesTalarico: We have to crack down on these big data center companies taking advantage of Texas communities. We've got to make them pay for their own energy so they're not driving up utility bills across the state, make sure they recycle their own water, and ensure they get the consent of people who live in these communities before they start building.

I’ll say it again - they have captured our voting system and they will never let go.
James Talarico got more 'votes' than any Democrat candidate has EVER gotten in Texas history. He got 500,000 more 'votes' than Kamala Harris got two years ago in a Presidential election year. The demographics of Texas have not changed significantly in two years. You can talk about gas prices, or Iran, or Trump's personality until the cows come home, this still seems ... odd, to say the least.

If you sponsor this podcast, calling for the execution of Elon Musk, I will never use your product… and will buy from both of your top two competitors This is unacceptable and dangerous. This a dog whistle to murder someone because you disagree with them — and this is the same guy who joked about the assassination against President Trump. Fuck this piece of shit.
At an event with Kara Swisher, Scott Galloway called for the execution of Elon Musk for being a “traitor to the west” live on stage.

One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up. So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us." Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026. There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true. But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone. Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were: 1) End the war 2) Focus on cost of living/inflation 3) Put America First 4) Change our relationship to Israel Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.) In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you. The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night. If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest. But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there. I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, “I told you so”: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.

The politics around AI data centers are about to change fast. States may have pushed back on these projects before, but once they see the thousands of high paying jobs, new power infrastructure, and capital investment attached to them, that resistance is going to disappear. AI is not just a technology story anymore. It is becoming a massive economic opportunity for the American middle class.

A lot of panic about Texas AI and Data Centers following the elections results. It’s important to remember that Data centers are the growth engine of Texas. Dems have a 2 year audition to potentially flip the presidency and change Texas for the long run. Crushing growth in Texas won’t work well. We see the change with Hinojosa being only moderate to what Abbott has already put in place. And, existing inventory of energized sites will become more valuable in this moment. 👀

Oh look - a swing district in a blue state is reporting every ballot scanner is down on a day when Republicans outnumber Dems 2 to 1. It’s the Maricopa Method of stealing. Katie Hobbs created it and now other Democrats are using it.
There is a problem with every ballot scanner in Westchester County. We do not yet know the exact cause of the issue, whether it is the ballot or the machine. The Board of Elections is working with their vendors to resolve it. However, every ballot will be counted. Stay on line and vote. Do not leave the polling place without voting.

BTW this is why early voting is stupid. We need an election DAY. Think about how many Michigan parents have already cast their ballot for this guy before seeing he's got the logic of a child groomer and wants their daughter to see some guy's crank in the jr high locker room.
No way this is real. I know that Elf Sayed is smug and full of hubris, but he wouldn’t say anything this dumb on TV right? What else is on the internet that Abdul is cool with little kids being exposed to cuz “they’re gonna see it eventually anyway”?

Just bought our last tranche of 2029 $IREN LEAPS, now representing ~1/3 of the portfolio. Strike Price: $30 Avg. Price per unit: ~$12.5 Expiration: January 19, 2029 As I stated in our new deep dive, I believe this sell-off presents an excellent opportunity to double down on $IREN (NFA), which is exactly what we're doing. The break-even $IREN price at expiration, based on our average entry, is about $42.5, giving us plenty of comfort that these options will be well 'in the money' by the time I intend to sell them. At an $IREN price of a little over $150, these LEAPS could deliver roughly ~1.7–2.0x the percentage upside of the underlying, depending on entry price, $IREN spot price, remaining time to expiration, and implied volatility. Given the relatively low $30 strike price and the very long-dated expiration, I found this to be an asymmetric opportunity to increase our $IREN exposure. This post is purely for transparency purposes and isn't a solicitation to buy call options. It goes without saying that options are inherently riskier than the underlying. In this case, if $IREN were to trade at or below $30 at expiration, these call options would expire worthless. Don't blindly jump into options without doing your own due diligence and risk assessment. Cheers! ✌️

AI demand is global. The rules that govern data are local. Sovereign AI depends on where infrastructure sits, who can access data and which laws apply. IREN brings together data centers, compute and software to help customers address these requirements. As we develop new capacity in Spain and Australia, we’re building sovereign AI readiness into the infrastructure from the start. Read more: iren.com/resources/blog/depl…
