Algorithms are predictable and mechanical. Study @Moneytaur_ and let your minds eye open. Algos are deployed by the elite banking cartels that run the world (not satire); they collude and share information; with their dominant and most profitable strategy being to work with each other, against the masses. Around 80% of global trading volumes are algorithmic. They use indoctrination to teach us financial theories that keep us in the dark and strengthen their information asymmetry. While 'we the people' insist markets are free and fair, the elite relentlessly extract profits from us. An example I remember being taught religiously in my Econ lectures, was the Random Walk Hypothesis, that suggests stock prices (or any asset) evolve according to a random walk. This means that the movement of stock prices is completely unpredictable and independent of past movements. At its core, this claims price changes are random and cannot be predicted based on historical price data. We the people marry these ideas, adopting retail trading strategies engineered by the elite, which cut our true potential short. Accept the game is rigged; study MTs feed and learn the rules of the game. Utilise Game Theory and psychology to understand how the other players think and operate. The financial markets are a global zero-sum game; money in = money out. One players gain is exactly balanced by another’s loss. The total β€œpot” of money does not change; it is only redistributed among players. Internalising this information, you suddenly realise that the elites have a financial incentive to deceive us, to release bullish news at tops, bearish news at bottoms. Since this game has been played for over 100 years, you connect the dots with rising wealth inequality, and it becomes evident that the idea of the media being bought and controlled is not so far-fetched. (webfx.com/blog/internet/the-…) MT has mentioned that all time frames matter, and if you look closely enough, you will see there is always a reason for a reversal on all time frames. High trading volume coins have more sophisticated algorithms running on them as there is more money to extract from the markets. Therefore, algos try to hide liquidity using timeframes that are more uncommon to retail.

Everyone's chasing money, and this is why they can't get it. If you desire true wealth, stop fixating on money and start obsessing over your own evolution. Master your mind, sharpen your skills, expand your vision, and build unshakable self-belief. When you commit to becoming the best version of yourself, wealth stops being something you chase and starts becoming something you magnetize. Money is never the ultimate goal. It is merely the shadow that follows a person who relentlessly invests in their own growth. Monk mode. Self-belief. Mentors. Time.

I like SOL at these prices. While many alt coins are REKT with fresh lows and thin volume, the safer play is buying coins with strong institutional demand in combination with volume based SOS. Look for ultra high volume on down candles, where price was knocked sideways or starts reversing. This shows demand is overtaking supply. Remeber buying happens on down candles. Dont buy spot on coins that have obvious weakness in the background like ultra high volume up thrusts on recent PA. These coins are likely cooked.

I closed this for a loss. It's fair to say my timing was off. While part of me wanted to keep holding, I stuck to the plan and will look for a cleaner entry after some HTF candle closes. Not bearish, but happy to sit on my hands until I see a trigger.

This journey nearly broke me. And I don’t mean β€œoh it was hard lol”. I mean it forced me to look at myself in ways I’d avoided my entire life. At the start, I thought I had it handled. Edge? Check. Confidence? Check. Vision of freedom? Crystal f*cking clear. That illusion didn’t last long, because when the pressure came, the truth came with it: - My psychology was a mess. - My rules were flexible when they shouldn’t have been. - My convictions weren’t even mine half the time. Being truly honest? I wasn’t trading, I was performing. I’ve got a family. Responsibility. Real stakes. So in a way, you could say I did this backwards. I messed up early. Then I kept messing up. Loss after loss after loss. But instead of quitting… I stayed long enough to see what was actually wrong with me. That’s the part very few talk about. I didn’t just lose money. I lost illusions. I lost identities I thought were β€œme”. Being completely transparent? There were days I was deep in red after being millimetres from passing challenges, moments where I’d blown it and genuinely didn’t want to exist anymore. Not metaphorically. Not dramatically. I’m talking about that quiet, heavy thought: β€œI don’t want to be here.” If your mental game isn’t locked down, this path will eat you alive. No edge, no system nor mentor will save you. So I stopped trying to control myself. I stepped away. I dissected every single mistake I’d recorded. Not to beat myself up, but to understand the pattern underneath the behaviour. And what I realised changed everything: You don’t kill old habits. You outgrow them. You don’t β€œfix” psychology. You build a new identity that doesn’t need the old coping mechanisms. I got quieter. I stopped explaining. I stopped looking sideways. Silence became my edge. I came back. Still imperfect. Still human. But the mistakes got smaller. Less frequent, less emotional. That’s how you know something real is changing. I’m nowhere near where I want to be, but this is a turning point. My family is that bit safer. My decisions are cleaner. And I’m no longer a one-trick pony clinging to hope. For the first time, I’m proud, not because I β€œwon”… but because I didn’t abandon myself. I owe a huge part of this to @Moneytaur_ . Yes, I did the work, but without his willingness to share real knowledge, to stay present, to teach without ego, I don’t know if I’d have made it through the darkest parts. I’ll probably never meet him. I’ll probably never be in his circle. And that’s fine, because what he gave me didn’t just change my trading. It changed the trajectory of my life. This isn’t motivation, nor is it advice. It’s proof that staying long enough to face yourself is the hardest trade you’ll ever take.
I'm cutting back on X for a little bit. I set 2025 out to be transformational in every aspect of my life and I aim to give it everything so that once I'm back I'm giving more than I ever was. I need to return to the mindset and focus I had when I first discovered MT (pre ATOM post) and use that fuel I had in figuring out what he was showing me then to move to the next level. I was a different animal in that studying environment and I feel this is necessary to move up again. X isn't a factor in that growth right now. I'll still be around for engaging MT and the occasional posts but other than that my focus - for the moment - needs to be elsewhere. Speak soonβ™₯️

Happy new year people! Thank you to everyone who’s chosen to stay with me on X. I know it’s been a while, but I needed to go dark and work on what matters - my trading. Im still grinding out this 100K FTMO challenge; not passed just yet, but I feel close to. My dream will always remain trading for a living, and helping as many people as possible. I’ll share alpha where I can. Hermes

Stopped for -0.25%. I did not see the 5m BB πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ. My red zone was a volume based level, with my idea being a retest into the HTF 0.5, sitting within the P3/6D zone, with SL just covering the SH. Had I seen the 5m would have played that instead!

Week 55 & 56 Review πŸ“š This review is for week 55 & 56 of my MT journey and week 12 of my FTMO challenge. The past two weeks have seen a lot of positive growth for me, particularly in my tactical skill and the way I have approached the markets; cutting down TFs, hedging more and playing more S&D. Ive been tweaking my edge, adding in volume analysis and building V2 of my playbook, cutting the wheat from the chaff. I've experimented a lot more in my trading, and have embraced the sprit of scalping, avoiding overthinking and getting into the flow of the market - trusting my gut more. The quantity of executed trades has gone up both weeks relative to the past, with winners far exceeding the drawdown of losing trades; when I take a winner, the realised RR is big. Despite making a fare few fat fingers, my mistakes have primarily remained of the good type - being unavoidable weaknesses in my tactical game. Across the whole two weeks, I only had 3 trades being in the C category for my MG, and the lowest score for my TS being -1B for two trades. I only missed one trade, where I accidentally bought GER40 instead of the US30, failing to update my ticker on the trade terminal - frustrating but welcome to trading. You can see for W56 many set ups did not have ranking yet, since these were new edges and set ups I'm working on. Habits wise, still pretty consistent and enjoyed an early weekend off for W55 with the fam. W56 put in a big shift this weekend, clearing a massive back log of journaling. Ive noticed Ive fallen out my groove a bit with my deep work - a focus for the next few weeks. With so many trades taken, just gonna show a couple this week, the best winners and losers 🍿

🟒 193 GER40 LTF-S +1.96% | 6.54 RRR This was a clean set up - anticipating a 30m close within the 30m BB, while also seeing a 5m double hidden forming. Despite the DH failing to form, I still took the short due to the 30m CC in the zone, also having a gut feeling to do so. Learning from my previous mistakes, I held this trade at risk - not going BE quickly allowing a possible retest into the wider zone. This short also had a nice confluence from the CFD chart having a 20m BB. This was a very good executed trade for me, but my management still needs working on. I took out 60% at TP1, with 40% on TP2 - this should be the other way round. I closed the final TP into a long scalp.

🟒 196 GER40 LTF-S +0.8% | 3.98 RRR This was a nice partial double hidden level, being at the range highs. After a clear hunt/sweep of the level, I saw sings of exhaustion from buyers on the 1m, and entered short with a tight stop above the high. Played it conservative with TP1 taking 50% profits to cover earlier losses of the day - ensuring no profit given back this day. My TP2 was front run, but I trailed very aggressively, still capturing a good amount of the move.
