one thing that’s been really helpful for me as someone not able to cook as much is focusing on variety of foods and number of plants rather than servings. And yes spices count. So does the honey in my tea. Variety of input is really critical for the gut!

So for instance today I had bread that was made from rice & quinoa, had 2 types of seeds on it. There was honey in my tea, and I take my meds with juice. So that’s already 7-8 different plants! I try to focus on fibre and variety of intake and find that approach best for me.

I figured it out. I took out the trash today which meant I had to walk through the hall & lobby (which surround my unit) and the heat is definitely on in those areas and must be keeping my unit warmer. Good thing I have big windows!

loved YOU CAN SEE ANYTHING (2026) but... the film failed to conclusively demonstrate that any of the tech actually works. like... it kinda all hinges on whether or not Theranos is real

Really bothers me when cafes post seasonal drink images on website or IG but then don’t label which drink is which. How am I supposed to guess from the top of the drink or through the plastic for a cold one which latte is which

idk if this is a serious ask but lots of directors are great at blocking drama (conversation) Great examples: -Soderbergh Oceans -Oppenheimer -Mad Men -Industry -most Spielberg -most Shyamalan -The Handmaiden -literally any Tarantino -The Abyss

It is completely possible to stage and film an ensemble of actors doing nothing but talking in a way that is not only coherent, but dynamic and interesting and adds value narratively & visually. The avengers are billion dollar movies! we should be holding them to standards!!

I originally included some action examples but then realized I should narrow the scope of this just to specifically being in a space and talking because that’s the example from OP and also a different skillset than staging & blocking action.
