After careful consideration we've decided to cancel in person worship this Sunday. We will be streaming a sermon at 10 on the OCV YouTube channel. youtube.com/@OilCityVineyard
Spread the word. (Friends don't let friends drive in a snowstorm to a worship service that is canceled.)
We hope you join us this Advent season as we join all creation in waiting on the Word (John 1:1, 14).
If you are looking for a church home ( you can find us at the Oil Region Venango Campus (1801 W. 1st St. Oil City) at 10 am on Sundays. We hope to see you there!
Do you want to seek God's best for OCV, Oil City, and the region?
If so, join us on Sundays at 9:30 for pre-worship prayer in the auditorium. Let's pray that we see God's Kingdom Come in our lives and region. All are welcome!
We hope you make plans to join us next Sunday (Jan 26th) for our annual family meeting and pot-luck. This is for EVERYONE who calls OCV home. See you then!

Since our first affinity group for youth leaders just wrapped up, we figured it would be great to check in with Jesse and Cassie to see what they had to say about youth ministry in their small town.

It's back!
We are going to kick off a once-a-month Sunday morning class on C.S. Lewis' fiction with a discussion of The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe on December 1st.
We're looking forward to leaning into gratitude during the rest of November at OCV. Join us at 10am this Sunday!
This Sunday!
If you are new-ish to OCV, think about staying for lunch. It will be a great chance to connect with OCV leaders and get to know some other folks who are newish to the OCV fam.
After we finish up our sermon series on fear this Sunday, we will lean into gratitude for the rest of the month of November.
Don't forget--The 7th annual OCV Youth fall party is tomorrow from 5-7 at the Cotherman house.
If cider, chili, a campfire, pumpkin golf, and an array of fall-themed games sound good to you, and you are a student in grades 6-12, you don't want to miss it. Bring friends!

“To maintain a vision for the importance of local congregations in areas with small populations and seemingly limited potential, we have to face head on the subtle power of this cultural value.” @CECotherman
