Fantastic advice.
Your degree is not a lifetime guarantee of relevance. I earned my PhD at 35, I am almost 60 and still learning new skills.
Why? Because the world keeps changing.
Your qualifications reflect past achievement. Your learning prepares you for the future.

When Colonel John McCrae wrote "In Flanders Fields" in 1915 he probably did not realize that his use of the Flanders poppy would become such a small yet powerful symbol of remembrance that would allow us to recall such large sacrifice.

Sound on, Canada! Watch our fully stacked and integrated Taiga rocket and our upgraded in-house metal 3D printed Hadfield-10 engine roar to life on our new NightFox Engine Test Cell (Rig 7) at Area 66! With our next launch now imminent, Taiga's back on the test stand ahead of transport to the Atlantic Spaceport Complex (ASX) in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada’s largest spaceport. With Taiga, we are attempting the first ever fully commercial launch in Canadian history, and have gone to great lengths over the course of the last 12 months to seek the first commercial launch licence granted under the pending Canadian Space Launch Act, in close collaboration with Transport Canada (@Transport_gc, @stevenmackinnon).
Taiga is 100% made in Canada, and uses custom liquid rocket technology highly representative of what will allow us to achieve orbital flight with Tundra not just once, but at scale. Taiga is built to drive real flight heritage and experience over multiple planned launches, stress testing Tundra’s hardware and operations at the ASX, Area 66, and RF-1, and setting the foundations for critical programs such as VERTEX (Vehicle for Experimental Rocket Testing and EXploration), our Bondar orbital kick-stage, hypersonic testing, responsive launch, scaled manufacturing and quality control, and perhaps most importantly, Rocket League — our in-house talent development program for young rocket engineers and the only one of its kind in Canada.
NightFox itself is so significant because it is a precursor to our orbital launch pad that will be prepared for both our light and medium lift orbital class vehicles (Tundra and Tempest), located at the ASX. Lessons learned from NightFox will transfer directly to our orbital class launch mounts and erector systems, as NightFox is the first of our propulsion test cells to feature a hydraulic erector mechanism.
Construction is ongoing at a rapid pace at both Area 66 and the ASX in Ontario and Newfoundland and Labrador, respectively. The two provinces and sites are being built to share a substantial amount of common infrastructure and architecture, allowing testing and flying to occur at the highest cadence possible.
Stay tuned for some very exciting updates and announcements spanning all our programs, and especially launch! Codspeed! 🇨🇦🚀
