Sweeney Todd. I produced this last night. I’m thinking of doing YouTube films, looking at iconic figures. Truth and fiction.

ODE TO A BROKEN PLATE; Once whole and round, now broke in two, a little plate I bought from new. Bought from a store in Surbiton, on which I placed my food upon. With matching crockery and dishes, meeting years of dining wishes. Years went by, all broke but one, this plate, the last, now sadly gone.

Men: if you've taken to buying lots of clothes on Vinted and may even consider yourself something of an addict, can you get in touch with little old ME?

Wow. While this may be true of the UK, I think it's also true of the US, where the consistency of Update laughs is far better - the disparity being bigger, if anything.
Speaking in massive generalities here but it is amusing to me how much SNL UK is Bizarro World to me because their Update is routinely far and away the best part of the show while they continue to struggle with live sketches, something that runs complete opposite to the US show

I cried at the top of Mt. Kenya, so it's mine now, I guess.
I was on a flight to Israel and struck up a conversation with the lady beside me. She was Jewish; her family were Holocaust survivors. As we saw the coastline of Israel from the window, she burst into tears. It was her first time visiting. Tell me again how Jews have no connection to the land of Israel.

He's got a wife? Mad.

No. Obviously. It will be completely shit.
ICYMI: An AI-generated film is coming to theaters in December, aiming to be the first AI movie nominated for best animated feature at the Oscars. But will the violent, R-rated "Gods Don't Give Gifts," made by @Gossip_Goblin and @fableshowrunner, get past the Oscars' AI aversion?variety.com/2026/film/news/a…

sadistic glee in so many articles about "Digger" taking this tone as if, written by persons who've never made a movie, will never make a movie, or probably even know anyone who has made a movie, or in fact created anything original & risky, are taking their revenge on those who make themselves vulnerable by doing so.
‘Digger’ is officially the flop of the year. The Tom Cruise–starring comedy caps off a calamitous box-office year for Warner Bros., just as Skydance is set to take over the studio Tuesday. vulture.com/article/tom-crui…
